I had an electric heater for my house rabbits but it packed up after 18 months at the weekend, and now the weather is turning colder. I did some research and IR heaters are in no way harmful to pets - it's UV that is bad, not IR. I therefore decided to switch from an electric radiator to an infra-red panel. This one is the smaller size - 60x30cm but it is very slim and uses less than half the electricity of the older 425W electric radiator it replaces. The heat is more specifically targeted and a nicer (not dry) heat like sun rays. I have it connected to a plug-in thermostat. It is completely silent in operation and supposedly has a 5 year warranty also. It costs a bit more than a standard electric heater but is much more compact, energy efficient and will therefore pay for itself over time.

Bought it for my elderly relative for the winter months as a cheap form of additional heating. Its not good enough to heat a room on its own but as an additional form of heating works well. The heater concentrates heat gently in one place so keeping you warm if facing where you are sat. The heater itself is very light and hangs on the wall just like a picture. The back of it doesn't get hot

works great and using a room thermostat to control it becuase it's such low current. I fitted it in my downstairs toilet bathroom. I had access to a ring spur. Not fitted to lighting ring. You get best result by angling it so it's facing the person you want to keep warm. 300 watts is very efficient and low cost to use. Approx 1.2 amps. I also have one in my insulated shed. Keeps the damp out. Far inferred is very efficient.

Looks tidy and is Marginally toasty but my night vision security camera doesn’t pick up any IR emission.

No timer and no heat control, but I expected that. Heat output very, very low, I wasn't expecting that. Could only feel any warmth if almost touching it. It was fitted under a desk in my wife's craft room. The 180w version was recommended by the online help. Had to return it. Still awaiting refund nearly two weeks after it was recorded as delivered back to them by Hermes. Not a happy 🐰

These heating panels are great,They are very slimline and discreet,The heat that comes out of them is really good,Easy plug in,QAULITY is good, AND definitely worth the money

I have this fitted to the inside of the rear panel underneath my desk. In such a confined space, it is very effective and feels as if I am sitting with my legs in warm sunshine. If I move back about a metre from the panel, the heat ceases to be noticeable, so there is no way it would heat a room. It was straightforward to fit and does the job I bought it for, providing a significant improvement in comfort for relatively low running costs. It is expensive for what it is though. These are not some sort of miracle device; 180W of heat really isn't very much, but if you understand what you're dealing with, they can be very useful.
