These were neatly packaged and it was delivered safely to my home. Before purchasing the picture only indicated the crochet hooks, but upon receiving and opening I realized that they also came with beads and trinkets for my dreads! It was a nice surprise to see! Can’t wait to put them all to use! Will come back to give an update on how it holds up with my dreads maintenance! 12/5/2018 Update: After using and abusing my crochet hooks, I can say that the 0.7 has soldiered out with me but the 0.5 eventually broke off. All in all I’m satisfied but I will invest into a more expensive one the next time.

These are perfect for repairing my locs!! I tested it last night with no issues. I was pleasantly surprised that they came with a little carrying case & some loc beads. Very unexpected, but much appreciated!! They’re beautiful!!!!! UPDATE 12/1/19: It’s been well over a year and these babies are still going strong!! Both hooks are still intact & the beads look like they did on day 1. I, definitely, recommend this product. I’ve been thinking about ordering a second set for travel.

I have a love hate relationship with it. I’m not sure what to think because this can be just as damaging as it is helpful. I have 2 year old healthy locks and I wanted to clean up some frizz and blunt my tips. It worked on some but with repeated use I found my dreadlocks only becoming more brittle and frizzy. So know when to stop don’t try and make it perfect. I can’t say this does permanent damage like some would recommend because I’ve recovered from every instance in about 2-3 months but without proper precaution this can be dangerous for sure. I recommend it just PLEASE know what you’re doing.

I was so excited to buy this only for it to break in my daughter hair after using only onces.. Edited::: The company reach out to me and replace the order. Had a chance to used them.. And oh wow I'm so happy they did. The grab is amazing even when I had to reloc this clients hair I didn't break and it's two had months of cared I had to do to his hair I am so happy that they sent out a new one is amazing it is a great Buy I guess the first one was just a fluke amazing product worth 5 stars

There's no grip so I'd advise users to make sure your hands are oil free. These are easy to use for the most part, once you find your groove it's uphill from there. Definite recommend as they've helped me successfully start my locs!

These are great and came with a nice surprise included in the storage case. I was greatly surprised and very happy. However my son has locks and has already swiped them from me and now they are lost...lol. Will be ordering more. Possible 2 sets so he has his own and I can keep track of mine.

I have thick hair so I gotta be a little more rough so I e vent and snapped a couple, they are good quality though, some of them are little more dull than others so don't be surprised, really cool that you get little beads and gold or silver cuffs for dreads, I like them

Hooks are cute, but the handle material feels more fragile than it looks, and the .05mm hook bent in half within the first 10 minutes of use. Once bent, the material was compromised and wanted to continue bending in that spot.

I love this product! The wooden handle makes it easy to hold so you can manipulate your locs with ease. It came in 2 sizes in a handy aluminum case. The seller also sent some hair ornaments in the case (beads and such). I highly recommend this product for anyone who is starting or maintaining their own locs. It would be nice to have a little instructional booklet as using the tool takes some practice. However, I guess that’s what Google is for :)
