Excellent and first class tinned fish. Deep umami flavor and sure to please. I buy tinned fish from various producers, and I would rate Fishwife at the top for sure. Consistent quality and taste. The price may be higher, but you deserve quality.

The best tasting tin fish on the market. Such high quality and adorable packaging. I stocked up on prime deals as they are pricy!

I never write a review this good, but this was a truly excellent product. I partially opened the can, drained the oil, then opened it the rest of the way and patted it with a paper towel to remove the excess oil. Both the taste and the texture were as good as they could be. The fish was flaked, not mushy, and had a lightly smoked flavor without being overwhelming. It is much more expensive than trout I smoke myself, but I can’t keep fresh smoked fish in the kitchen all the time. I couldn’t recommend it more. S

Absolutely delicious! Reminds me of where I grew up, Germany. A bit pricey but worth every mouth full. The trout is my favorite.

The spicy mackerel is better. This is similarly as good as the Trader Joe’s smoked trout, but this is much more expensive.

Oh so tasty treat for the peckish. Add crackers, a small glass of wine, a few nuts. Whatever. The filets are fat, with a nice texture and taste.

Delicious! Eat right out of the can, or enjoy with Artesian Bread or Italian Bread or French Bread. I also enjoy this tinned fish on the side with hard boiled eggs
