Awesome Controller, EVEN BETTER Customer Support!!!
First, I'd like to offer a HUGE THANK YOU to Shirley at Aknes for the OUTSTANDING customer support!!! There was an mix-up at the Amazon warehouse, so when I first ordered this controller they sent me a Pro+ by mistake. I sent it back for an exchange and they sent me ANOTHER Pro+, and then I only had the option to return it for a refund.I reached out to Aknes to let them know about what happened, and Shirley responded within the same day and personally ordered me another controller. Unfortunately, this one was also a Pro+, but she told me to keep it anyways. About a week later, she let me know that they fixed the inventory issue and that I had been sent a new Pro 2 controller in the mail. Sure enough, this time it was the correct controller! I've never in my life received such great treatment from a company, and so I am super grateful to Shirley and Aknes for all the help they gave me. Even with a slight language barrier, the communication was great and I can say with certainty that this merchant is very honorable. So now I've personally got to test out the Pro+ and the Pro 2 (both of them the G Classic editions), and can definitely say that the Pro 2 is a much better controller. The Pro+ is still very nice, and I do like the fact that I'm not accidentally pressing the extra buttons on the back all the time (I personally don't use these on the Pro 2, as I would accidentally be pressing them all the time), but where the Pro 2 shines is this:1. They fixed the "grinding" noise/sensation on the D-Pad, so it feels much smoother2. You can update the drivers via Bluetooth on your phone/tablet with the 8Bitdo Ultimate Software3. You can customize your analog/trigger sensitivity and button configurations with the Ultimate Software as well, via Bluetooth on your phone/tablet4. Battery life seems to last a few hours longer on the Pro 2 than on the Pro+5. The grip on the Pro 2 makes it easier for me to not squeeze the controller while I'm playing, so my hands don't cramp6. Those two extra programmable buttons on the back are probably awesome for someone who likes to use them. Would probably be a great function for Smash Bros or Street Fighter or something with twitchy gameplay like that.7. To power up the Pro 2, all you have to do is have the toggle switch set to the correct position and press the Start button where as with the Pro+ you have to hold A,B,X or Y and THEN press Start (to pick your connection type)The Pro+ and the Pro 2 are both extremely well made controllers, and they work similarly well. But the Pro 2 is definitely my new favorite, because it feels nice in my hands while I'm playing and also I can customize it for different devices. Right now I'm using it between my Nintendo Switch and also Stadia, GeForce Now and Steam via Shadow PC through the nVidia Shield Pro TV app -- and it's the perfect controller for all of them!!!Also, the sweet keychain and carrying bag included with each controller make it easier for me to organize my video game mess. Thank you again, Shirley and Aknes, for all of your help!!!!

This controller does almost everything!
With so many controllers out there, what will really win you over will be mostly based on preference and quality. As far as the quality goes, 8bitdo has nailed it with the pro 2 controller. If you like the style of the Playstation controller layout, this will be very familiar for you. The quality of the controller is great, but if you are using this with the Switch, there will be a few features that you will be missing from Nintendo's own controllers. You will not have HD rumble, an NFC reader for amiibo, and the ability to wake up the system. There is rumble but will be the same kind of rumble you know from years past. Despite those missing features, there is a lot to love about this controller. It has a lot of customization features such as button mapping, rumble sensitivity, and macros. It has the best D-pad you can get from any modern controller these days. I'm only using this on the Switch, but you can also use this on multiple platforms if you are looking for a one size fits all controller. Despite the missing features for the Switch, I would still recommend getting this controller. It has a lot to offer with customizations, the back triggers that you can assign for more ease of use, and a D-pad that is arguably the best that I have ever used. On top of that, the premium feel along with the rest of the buttons and the analog sticks makes this an overall solid controller, and I would highly recommend it!

Has been fantastic for Switch and PC
For the Switch when playing solo I love using this controller instead of my Switch Pro controller(I never use Joy-cons while docked, except SM Odyssey) for games like Pokemon/DQ11 that are more menu based due to the position of the D-Pad. Other than that it's an extremely well priced and solid controller if you need more for extra people with multiplayer games. It definitely has a very similar feel to the PS4 controller, but luckily far better battery life and USB-C vs Micro(one of my main gripes with the PS4 controller)On the PC it has been fantastic as well, Iove using it to play SNES games (That I do own) that have been modded with some difficulty, translation tweaks etc. But it works great for any game thanks to the software that comes with it that allows you remap buttons for using on the Switch and on PC separately, and many other options. Has worked well for any Stream game I've tried. The fact that it doesn't have NFC doesn't bother me at all. The one game I might use the NFC often (BoTW) I prefer the Pro controller, but it's not like you couldn't undock it, spam your amiibos, then go right back to using the SN30 Pro+. Would it be nice if I could turn on the Switch with the controller? Sure, but personally lifting a corner of the Switch out of the dock and back in really isn't too much a hassle. My only small issue is that the + and - (start and select) are a little out of the way.Side note about syncing, It is very important to follow the initial syncing instructions for the specific device you are syncing to (particularly being aware of the button combo that is different for every device type). Once I correctly synced the controller I have not had an issue with just pressing start to reconnect the controller. Note that you will have to resync to the Switch, after Syncing to your PC and vice versa(at least with Bluetooth) just like with the PS4 controller. The bottom line is that this controller is a fantastic Switch controller alone with the same build quality as an official Nintendo Pro Controller at a cheaper price. If you want something for Switch and PC, the value increases. If you want something for Switch, PC, Android, and Raspberry Pi...you get the point.I would also recommend watching the many youtube reviews that go into great detail about controller.

Great gamepad but a bit brittle
Love this controller, works great and feels great, but the translucent purple plastic lasted about a year before the battery cover latch and the trigger caps started breaking off. My old solid gray Pro+ is still going strong after several years with the plastic outlasting the rubber coating on the thumbsticks.
