it doesnt have hands
My fault but I didn't look closely enough , but it doesn't have hands with it and none of the hands i had fitted. As hands are quite specific I would have though that all mechanisms had them.

Brought clock back to life
The product was as described and replaced a unit exactly which had powered the clock which had been built by my son years ago in school. Beware of different lengths for the main post. Now works as before
