This is one of the greatest Chinese tonic herbs. It helps to build up core energy, instead of depleting the adrenals like stimulants such as caffeine. It is adaptogenic, so it helps our body to adjust to different stressors. Having a baby that doesn't always sleep through the night yet sometimes means I don't get enough sleep. However, taking 2 caps per day seems to help replenish something in my body that sleep normally gives. Since taking this, if I don't get quite enough sleep, it doesn't seem to affect me much if at all. It's great for the immune system too!

Strange but true... I decided to try this after I read that schizandra is a tonic and amazing coffee replacement. So I wanted to use it to boost my energy. But the opposite thing happened and I discovered that for me it works as the perfect sleeping pills! I take 2 pills just before bed and fall asleep in few minutes. I sleep long with beautifull vivid dreams and do not wake up in night :) No more sleeping problems for me! This is also adaptogen herb so the list of benefits is long with zero side effects.

I am taking these pills because I have been having low energy. I started taking these pills about a week ago. I prefer liquid gel caps but these capsules are easy to swallow and don't feel like they get stuck in my throat. I feel more alert when I take them. Others has also commented that I look like I have lost weight. One of the benefits of taking taiga gold with schisandra is weight loss so that makes me very happy)))))). I will continue taking this product hoping for improved stamina. As I train a lot almost every day and with these pills I feel myself like much better.

It says only that's it's 100 mg dose per serving but when you get the product it's actually 800 per serving

Increases my energy, reduces my appetite, nervous energy, mood swings, and acne! I take two around 7-8am and two around 2pm. If I take the second dose any later, I have a lot of trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. If you are stopping this, I recommend first dropping the dosage to half for a week to avoid any hormone upsets. Be patient if you don't see immediate results. It makes take up to two months. And, also, price is so good!
