Very nice pack of basswood sheets
I've gotten basswood sheets from a number of different suppliers on Amazon, and more than one of them I ended up getting sheets with face panels that were, at best, grade B and sometimes from two separate pieces of wood. That's fine for laser cutting utility panels, but you can't really trust them for engraving, as differing wood darkens at different rates. It becomes obvious. These, however, have both sides with a nice surface quality and none of the 24 sheets had the face layers made up with more than one piece of wood. I hope that's true of all of the ones they produce, but at the very least my pack didn't have any. Kudos for that.

1/3 are warped & Knots
Slight bow in about a third of them, some have large knots in them.

Cracks, warped, ugly
These boards are inexpensive but don't be tempted by the price. They are horrible quality. Lots of surface splits, the surface is rough, and the boards are all warped. If you paint them and are using them for scrap pieces maybe they'll work ok, but If you're looking for quality boards, look elsewhere. These are the worst basswood boards I've gotten from Amazon.

Nice pack of basswood
Size is as described. They are packed well and don't seem to be warped. Work good for engraving.

Horrible Quality
I've purchased a lot of plywood for use on a laser from Amazon. This is the first and only time I am purchasing from this vendor. It is layered plywood and some imperfections are to be expected. However, the outer layer of veneer has thin spots where the layers under it showed through, the veneer has cracks and gaps in it, the edges were "frayed", there were laser marks from them cutting it, a few pieces had large indented lines, and you could see the honeycomb pattern from their laser on most pieces. I looked through all 24 pieces and there is not a single piece I would use for my projects. I am returning the entire shipment and will purchase from vendors that I've ordered from in the past.
