Dumb question as I've never owned a smart phone before: Can I make/receive calls thru these with smart phone or is it just for listening to music?

Is there anyway to tell when the case needs charging? does the light blink differently on the front?

Hi. I would like to answer your good question Case has blue, green and red light indicate. A blinking red light means the case has less than 25 percent left. When the case is plugged in, solid red shows when it's charging, and the light changes to green when that's complete. Last, a blue light pulses when the earbuds are charging, and it goes off when that process is complete. Thank you for your question.

Where are the extra gel tips for the earbuds? It said it comes with small medium & large! Mine only came with the pair already on the earbuds

I thought the same thing too. The extra ear buds are hidden in the top section of the box. Unfold all sections the package the ear buds came in until the package is completely flat (and ready for recycling).
