Does the job perfectly well, I would say above average build quality. Just ot make sure not to bend the cable too many times. Best is to leave it on the desk. I am able to get the full 80GBPS of Thunderbolt 5 on my dock.

I used this for Thunderbolt 4 although it is targeted for Thunderbolt 5. BlackMagic report is as good as it can get for Thunderbolt 4 speed (here is for connecting external Thunderbolt 4 storage - NvME). There is no issue with bus powered devices (external NvME and Thunderbolt 4 enclosure combination). Cable itself is well made. There is no mark anywhere and should be dent or mark resistant in my opinion. The end connectors are not too thick that will take more room to other adjacent ports which is a good thing. However, they are also slightly longer than other connectors that I have. I think that may have a benefit for providing more surface to grab on.

Blazingly fast file transfers from an external SSD to a Windows laptop. What a time saver! I've also tried Cable Matters USB-C to HDMI cables. Superior performance over cheaper cables. This is now my "go to" brand of cables. Well worth a few extra dollars.

Bought this cable to transfer data from an old Mac to a new one. Both support Thunderbolt. I was not looking forward to Migration Assistant needing multiple hours (the better part of a day) to transfer all my data over Wifi. This cable made that move MUCH faster. I checked on the transfer after about 45 minutes, expecting that it might be 20-30% done, and it was completely done. Only 256gb drives on the computers, but I was still impressed. Cable is the right size for me, at 3 feet. It's flexible but not floppy. I have not used it for anything other than transferring data but I was very satisfied with it's performance doing that.

Thunderbolt go bang, good data/power cable for typec and thunderbolt enabled devices. I like this brand so I’m bias in saying that I think it has good value and durability.

Worked just like it was supposed to. Had no problems whatsoever with the transfer from an M1 Macbook Air to a M5 Macbook Air.

アンカー製のThunderbolt4対応のドッキングステーション経由でアンカー製Thunderbolt4対応ケーブルで繋いだところ外付けGPUや外付けSSDが認識しませんでしがこちらのThunderboltケーブルにGPU側とモバイルPC側を接続したところ一切途切れることなく全ての機器が安定動作しました 試しにそれぞれ切り分けをしましたがGPU側がこれ以外でも駄目、モバイルPC側もこのケーブル以外はだめでした おもしろいのがドッキングステーションに付属してきた自称Thunderbolt４のケーブルすらも駄目だだったのでアンカーよりも信頼性が高いですね

Vitesse impressionnante et parfait pour l’avenir. J’ai acheté ce câble Thunderbolt 5 principalement pour accélérer le transfert de données entre mon iPhone 15 Pro Max et mon MacBook Pro 16" (M4 Pro). Je savais que la vitesse maximale de l’iPhone est de 10 Gb/s, mais j’ai choisi ce câble en pensant aussi à mes futurs appareils compatibles TB5. Dès la première connexion, j’ai enfin vu dans la configuration macOS que l’iPhone était bien reconnu à 10 Gb/s. Lors de la sauvegarde complète, la vitesse n’était pas multipliée par dix (beaucoup de petits fichiers limitent le débit), mais pour le transfert de vidéos lourdes, c’était quasiment instantané — une énorme différence par rapport au câble standard fourni. 👉 Points positifs : Très haute vitesse confirmée avec mon iPhone, nette amélioration par rapport au câble d’origine. Longueur compacte de 0,3 m, parfaite pour une connexion propre sur le bureau. Connexion stable : le câble s’insère facilement dans les ports, sans jeu. Suffisamment souple malgré sa courte longueur, ce qui le rend agréable à utiliser. 👉 À améliorer : Le câble n’est pas gainé en tissu. Ce n’est pas un problème de qualité, mais personnellement je préfère les câbles tressés. Un excellent choix si vous voulez déjà profiter de la vitesse maximale de vos appareils actuels et être prêt pour l’arrivée de périphériques TB5. Pour moi, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, et j’ai hâte de le tester avec un futur disque externe compatible Thunderbolt 5.

I've been using this now for a few months to connect an external Acasis Thunderbolt 5 SSD enclosure to my Mac Studio. Performance and reliability have been perfect with no disconnections or any drops in performance. The cable is quite short, which is ideal as it means I don't have a tangle of cables on my desk.
