Our older dog sometimes gets restless at night. We've been to the vet and he has been diagnosed with a heart condition. The vet says the restlessness is a symptom and so I got these calming chews. He has been prescribed 12.5mg of sildenafil for his condition, which led me to discover another benefit of these chews; they can be used to hide small pills...His pills come in 25mg and they're not scored for easy breaking. The coating comes off and the pills are bitter as heck. He won't take them (and I can't say I blame him). These chews are heart-shaped and are easy to split in half. I put his half pill inside and squish the halves together with the pill inside. I'll sometimes run them under a trickle of water to seal but that's not always necessary.He takes his medication with no problem and his restlessness at night has decreased dramatically. He looks forward to his bedtime treat :)

Our two pups can get quite anxious, especially with delivery people and mailmen. They enjoy these chews and since they have been taking them daily, they are a bit more mellow and less prone to bark. I dropped one star because there is no indication of where this product is actually manufactured, and although the lid states "I am fully dedicated to ensuring your 100% satisfaction. Please contact me if you have any questions.", there is no contact information anywhere on the package. Searching the internet for the company, was a dead end.

I have a recent "new" shelter dog that even after a year is still quite anxious when he cannot see me. I have been on the lookout for different products to help him settle down when I leave the home or even while I'm working since he is non-stop busy. Both my senior & the "new" dog love these chews and act like they are getting treats. I started slow with just one each and there have been no bad results. I am up to 3 chews a day each. I am not sure how quick they work but one can see the ingredients are simple; no grain, soy (which many dog foods have tons of), corn, sugar to name a few. The active ingredients all seem to be natural & the fact there are no preservatives, even the most sensitive of stomachs can try these. So far I am pleased with the chews & the dogs love them. They actually smell really good too.
