Just what I needed for text rather than pictures. Speedy delivery, what's not to like?

I like to have a couple of thumb drives in my bag for backing up files and making a bootable drive in case I have problems with my laptop.These drives are just about big enough to do both, 8Gb will just about fit boot files and a basic drive image and you can also fit a reasonable mp3 library on one.I compared the read/write speed of these drives against an old 'Integral' drive I had in in draw, its a few years old but still working. These drives had higher data transfer rates so I guess technology has moved on since my Integral was manufactured.They came simply packaged in a small plastic resealable bag and the build quality is good. The swivel cover fits nicely and I found the USB A fitted snugly in my laptop's socket.Verdict: Good quality drive at a nice price.

If you're after basic flash drives then these are a good bet. They are the swivel kind so you don't need to worry about losing the caps and they are 8GB which is plenty for documents and a good amount of photos (and potentially some smaller videos too). They aren't the fastest in the world but are reasonable for the price.

Storage is cheap these days, and there's plenty of options out there. I just needed something for the kids to transfer work between home and school. These are perfect for the job.1. The 8Gb (7.49Gb available) capacity is not a lot but easily enough for what they need.2. They don't need super fast transfer speeds3. The build is rugged, and the swivel design means no parts or covers to lose. These will survive being thrown about in a school bag.

These usb sticks are perfect for my intended use....copy 4K video files from my PC onto these sticks to then play in my living room home theatre set up. Write speed is a bit slow, I managed 14MBs, but for my uses thats fine. I also occasionally need to move photo files around and these usb sticks are fine for that too. The capacity measured 7.49GB. I can remember the early days of digital cards and paying £60 for 64 megabytes...not gigabytes...These usb sticks are great value...

These are perfect for transferring small amounts of data between devices. I am old enough to remember when 8Gb was an unimaginable amount or storage. These days it is very little indeed but there are still plenty of instances when I want to transfer small documents and files. These are also big enough to create emergency boot drives for computers.They are well made and the fold over cap keeps everything clean without having to worry about losing dust caps. Performance is good and they report the full capacity available, minus the usual small loss from formatting.Read and write speeds are very acceptable and quite fast enough for the quantity of data they can hold.At only £6.99 for two they are great value and very useful to have available.

A very handy 2 pack of 8gb flash drives, though 8gb isn’t a huge size these are handy for everyday use.
