I had never heard of this kind of thermometer before I tried the search for it here, so I read the comments and decided to go for it. While I was reading the comments in reviews, it seemed like the larger the thermometer, the better to see the reading. So, I got the 20 inch one. I have a clock in my kitchen that also gives the temperature, and the Galileo gauge is amazingly accurate. Beautiful thermometer and large enough that you can use this as a lovely decorative addition to any room. Well worth the money.

Beautiful and elegant…the gold numerical circles are a nice touch making it easy to read. Temperature matches digital display on in-home thermostat perfectly. Its functionality makes it a fun piece. Price the best on the market for its size.

Galileo Thermometer…
Very interesting to watch it’s just the opposite of an alcohol or mercury type thermometer this type of Galileo thermometer as the temperature gets colder the colored balls will rise, as the temperature gets warmer the colored balls will drop…

Great way to know the temperature
I bought this because I think they’re cool. And it is! Came fully intact and great at telling me what the temp is inside. Very accurate!

This was broken before it was sent out, but the company gave me a refund.
Showed up broken. Package was dry on arrival which means it was broken probably before it even came off the shelf and was packaged to go out in the mail. EDIT: Jingyue reached out and offered to send a new one. Unfortunately, the person for whom it was a gift now lives in Canada, and this company doesn’t ship to Canada 😭So they refunded the purchase price. Much appreciated!

The most important thing to know about this is that it is accurate. My biggest concern was that it would not work as intended, but it is responsive within about 5 minutes to temperature change. It came packaged well, so if the shipping process is a little rough it should still show up intact.
