We bought the KLIM B5 CD Player for our 13-year-old son who recently got into CDs (yes, they’re cool again!). This boombox has been such a great find. It’s simple enough for him to use on his own without needing constant help, but still has all the features we wanted—CD, Bluetooth, radio, and USB. The sound quality is surprisingly rich for such a compact unit. It fills his room easily without distortion, even when he’s cranking up his favorite tracks. The build is solid and feels durable—important for a teen who doesn’t always handle things gently. He’s taken it from his room to the backyard without any issues. We also loved how intuitive the buttons are—no confusing setup or clunky menus. The Bluetooth connects fast, and the antenna pulls in local stations clearly. Bonus points: It even looks cool enough to leave out without being an eyesore! Perfect for: Kids discovering music, parents wanting a reliable CD player, or anyone feeling a little retro. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for an easy-to-use, all-in-one music system for home or on the go.

We go to the drive-in regularly and it kept draining our battery. Since the sound only runs on FM signals, there is no app you can download that works with the local tune. Sounds is decent, handle makes it easy to port and I loved the battery charge feature instead of having to use the traditional C or D batteries (although this is still an option for those who want to use batteries. Says the charge lasts for 8+ hours, will see. It is not too small but not too big either. If it had just a tiny more bass I would have gave it 5 stars but I’m a bass fanatic. It does have better than average sound for a boombox.

This is a nice little "boombox". No, it's not going to vibrate the room with base, but I was looking for something rechargeable to take out to the yard or garage etc and this is perfect. In addition to playing CDR / CDRW's, it will also play music from the built in USB port. All of my thumb drives work great and it's better than moving around a bunch of cd's. Only negative is the position of the USB port. It's right on the front of the unit under the LCD display. So the USB drive will stick out from the unit and could get damaged. NOt much of a concern but worth a mention. Customer Service: Really GREAT. The Boombox I was sent only charged for 30 -40 minutes and only lasted 20-30 minutes while running of battery. This "wasn't cool" and obviously should last longer. 3 days after contacting cust service, a replacement boombox was on my doorstep. This one takes 5-6 hours to charge and lasts over 5 hours on battery with volume set appx 1/2 way (and the speaker lights turned off). Obviously, there was an issue with the internal battery on the first one. The manufacturer rectified the situation super fast. AND they sent me a 10% off coupon for another purchase. WHICH I WILL ABSOLUTELY DO. Great Cust Service.

My parents loved this for their back patio! it was better than they expected for the price.

Not a bad little boom box, the price reflex it's quality. But all functions work perfectly. Great sound for the house.

Just the right size for a versital music player. Well designed with cd, usb, and aux in and out. Sound quality holds at peak volume. Will see how it holds up.

J'aime beaucoup sont son et surtout son autonomie moyenne 5-6h sur les 6h j'ai fait en 2 fois (2h et une aprem de 4h d'afiller ) lit très bien les cd mais je n'est pas encore testé la radio

El producto llegó en perfecto estado, bien protegido en su interior, y con un precinto del fabricante en su caja como producto nuevo. El KLIM Boombox B5 está bien construido, sus materiales son de calidad, prueba de ello es la garantía de 5 años que ofrece el fabricante. Su funcionamiento es muy sencillo, tiene una pantalla que muestra información sobre la reproducción, la pantalla es luminosa, junto con los botones de funciones de reproducción, pero al cabo de unos segundos se apaga, esta función es perfecta por que no hace daño a los ojos, no daña la vista, y además es perfecto por si te gusta escuchar algún titulo de CD o MP3 al acostarte, no te molestará en las horas de descanso. El KLIM Boombox B5 también incluye funciones muy interesantes, como un sistema de auto apagado automático después de 15 minutos sin usar el reproductor, por si te quedas dormido, y un sistema para la reproducción de CD que evita el salto de pista, por si decides cambiarlo de lugar reproduciendo un CD, además el USB es compatible con la reproducción de archivos WAV, esto es perfecto por que puedes hacer una copia de seguridad de tus CDs a formato WAV que es un formato sin perdida, desarrollado por Microsoft con la siglas de WAV PCM. En cuanto a la función de radio almacena hasta 30 emisoras, el Bluetooth no lo he probado todavía, pero la versión 5.3 es de las mas estables. El KLIM Boombox B5 incluye dos altavoces estero de 10 W cada uno, sumando un total de 20 W, su sonido es limpio, aunque podría mejorarse el ruido de fondo que hacen los altavoces al reproducir audio. Lo de las luces de los altavoces es una opción adicional que puedes usar para dar un toque especial al ambiente. También incluye una bateria con la que puedes utilizar el KLIM Boombox B5 durante horas sin conectarlo a la red electrica. En general estoy muy satisfecho con esta compra, por el precio que tiene es una muy buena opción, pero para gustos colores, a mi personalmente me ha resultado util.

Conosco la marca KLIM della quale posseggo già alcuni dispositivi che si sono rivelati sempre anche se non ulòtra eccellenti, di buona qualità. In questo caso però con il Boombox B5, credo KLIM abbia commesso uno scivolone, infatti dopo averlo testato il prodotto si è rivelato anche in considerazione del prezzo al quale viene proposto (qualche cent. in meno di 100E), un prodotto abbastanza deludente. Lo avevo atteso con trepidazione, avrei voluto usarlo in ufficio per poter riascoltare degnamente quei vecchi CD che da anni restano impilati a prender polvere. Non mi dispiaceva nemmeno il fatto di poter usare sullo stesso apparecchio la radio e magari qualche playlist da una chiavetta USB, insomma avere tutto sullo scaffale in un solo dispositivo sarebbe stato utile a ridurre un pò di spazio. Quel design poi vedendolo in foto non mi dispiaceva affatto! Purtroppo dopo aver effettuato già i primi test tutto questo mio entusiasmo si è spento; certo funziona tutto, radio, CD, USB e anche il bluethoot fanno il loro dovere, ma a contorno di questo vi sono alcuni aspetti che ho trovato deludenti, in primo luogo l’audio; malgrado sia dotato di alcuni settaggi preimpostati di equalizzazione tra cui scegliere l’audio è purtroppo mediocre, fa rimpiangere la qualità media di un qualsiasi altoparlante bluethoot venduto a poche decine di euro. Bassi, medi e alti sono appiattiti in un unico suono indefinito e senza grinta, persino il parlato ascoltando la radio diventa un suono banale. Le lucette all’interno dei coni audio, carine sì ma creano interferenze continue specialmente ascoltando la radio quando sono in funzione (vedi contributo video), possibile che gli ingegneri KLIM non si siano resi conto di un problema così evidente? Sempre in zona sulla griglia dei coni portavoce abbiamo sulla sinistra e sulla destra i selettori a rotella del volume e del tuning; queste due soluzioni sono risultate davvero imbarazzanti, sono pochissimo reattive il che vuol dire girare, girare, girare, girare… se poi state cercando una frequenza radio non ancora memorizzata e siete distanti di molti Mhz trovarla diventerà una avventura estenuante! A proposito di radio, la ricezione non brilla, posseggo radioline da quattro spicci che riescono a catturare sullo stesso posto, frequenze che per questo radiolone gigante sono semplicemente inesistenti. Peccato non sia DAC, al prezzo proposto credo sarebbe stato un buon incentivo offreire un prodotto aggiornato. Aggiornamento che a quanto pare sia stato fatto per la parte elettronica di questo case forse in passato destinato ad altro, infatti anche se incollato maldestramente con della colla a caldo, ho scoperto che sul fondo persiste ancora il portello portabatterie con tutto il suo alloggiamento, manca la parte elettrica ora sostituita da una batteria che è interna e ricaricabile, una cosa buona in effetti perchè dopo aver messo in carica il boombox dopo ore e ore di utilizzo non sta avendo cedimenti. Un velo pietoso sulla qualità delle plastiche, chissà quel portellino del lettore CD quanto durerà e quanto il case dell’intero radiolone; tenendolo tra le mani non ispira proprio l'idea di volerlo portare in giro, una caduta o un urto potrebbero essergli fatali! Insomma mi dispiace davvero aver dovuto analizzare in modo così impietoso questo prodotto, conoscendo la marca mi ha meravigliato vederlle fare un ruzzolone su questo prodotto, che con qualche accorgimento sarebbe stato più che valido. Purtroppo non è stato così, spero che queste mie osservazioni, anche se non lusinghiere, servano da sprone all’azienda per concentrasi meglio e fornire prodotti, che sul mercato puntino all’eccellenza. Dai, dai, dai!
