Unbelievable customer service
I wanted to share an experience I had with the customer service with Lawrence at HOMICHEF.I contacted customer service due to my lid breaking. I just wanted to replace the lid, whether it be warranties or purchase.Lawrence was over the top helpful! He let me know that they would be sending a replacement. I assumed just the lid. Man was I surprised when I record the whole pot!Could not ask for a better experience!

Easy clean up No streaks on outer pot after drying
Well So many pots and pans to choose from. Finally clicked and took a chance. I used this pot for a big sauce for Easter It did the job .Of course everybody knows I make the best sauce (not gravy) lol So what makes this pot exciting . The clean up Some soapy hot water cleans easily but here is the bonus , no streaks like other sauce pots I have purchased. Second bonus comes with a classy ladle and a two pack of stainless steel cleaner Buy,buy, buy You will not be disappointed I have no skin in this review . I just love the pot. Glass top too as it should be.

Exceptional Build Quality but Lid Handle Gets Hot
I originally wanted a Vollrath 3109 Centurion, 38-quart, 10-gauge stainless steel stockpot, made in Italy, but I didn't have $653 plus the lid cost to shell out, especially after our previous stockpot of nearly 10 years got dented and the base almost detached from the body. Searching for a quality alternative, I found this Homichef brand on Amazon. I purchased the 24-quart version in August, and I must say, it has been a solid investment. I've cooked in it at least 20 times already—primarily soups and stews—and it still looks as pristine as the day it arrived. This pot is crafted from nickel-free stainless steel, which is not only healthier but also highly durable. The pot’s heavy-duty construction, with a 7mm base, gives it stability and even heat distribution, which is beneficial when cooking large batches. Compared to my old stockpot, the Homichef feels far sturdier and more resilient, holding up exceptionally well after multiple uses. The mirror-polished exterior and matte interior finish make cleaning a breeze. Even after simmering hearty stews, I found that residue wiped away with minimal effort, preserving its shiny look. It’s refreshing to use a pot that doesn’t stain or retain food odors much, making it feel new with each use. This stockpot’s compatibility with various stovetops—gas, induction, electric, and ceramic—is a standout feature. Whether I’m using it on my gas stove or transferring it to a friend’s induction cooktop, it performs consistently well. The ergonomic handles remain cool, making it safer to handle, even when cooking at high heat. The 24-quart capacity is fantastic for cooking in bulk, but it does make storage a bit tricky. If you have limited kitchen space, finding a suitable spot might be a challenge, especially considering its height. However, if you frequently cook for large groups or prepare stock, the size is ideal. While the handles on the pot itself stay cool, the lid handle tends to heat up, which can be inconvenient during longer cooking sessions. It’s a minor inconvenience, but I’d recommend using a pot holder when lifting the lid to avoid burns.Overall, this 24-quart stockpot is an impressive piece for the price. While I still admire the Vollrath's reputation, the Homichef proves that high-quality cookware doesn't always come with a high price tag. This is a durable, well-designed stockpot that meets all my cooking needs, and I’m thoroughly pleased with this find. Let's see if this will last up to 10 years like my old 20-quart stockpot.

Great pot, high quality
Great pot for a chili cook off. Plenty of space to cook large quantity of food, plus the double walled bottom prevents burning on a direct flame. Unfortunately we did not win, but I can't blame the pot for that.

Quality without the added toxin stainless steel
Great quality stainless steel stock pot! Large enough to make pho broth. Heats up evenly & lid doesn’t splatter and closes tight for hours of simmering bone broth. Also important that it’s nickel free (a neurotoxin.)
