To add a touch of luxury to my laundry, I picked up the DedCool Dedtergent in Xtra Milk. It is a stronger version of the brand’s signature unisex skin scent, built around cozy warm amber and white musk. While bergamot is listed in the notes, I do not pick up on any citrus at all. Instead, it leaves my laundry wrapped in a rich, warm, and comforting musk-amber fragrance that is subtle and not overpowering. Despite its gentle, plant-derived formula, this is far more than just a delicate wash. I use it regularly for my everyday clothes and bed linens, and it cleans surprisingly well by getting rid of stains and dirt. The dye-free formula washes everything thoroughly without causing any allergic reactions or skin irritation, which is a major plus for me. It leaves my sheets and clothes feeling really soft, fresh, and smooth. I also think the industrial-style tin container is super cool. The fact that it is completely refillable makes it even better, and I am definitely looking forward to refilling it with more DedCool detergent later on. My only real issue is with the packaging design: the bottle does not come with a measuring cap, and because the liquid is so thin and watery, figuring out how much to pour takes some guessing. It is not much of an issue with my top-loading machine, but it could definitely get messy if you are using a front-loader. I absolutely love the fragrance of this detergent. It's light and fresh without being overwhelming or too perfume-y. The detergent also cleans incredibly well, and you have to use very little for a full load, making the cost per use reasonable for my budget. I especially love using this for my linens and bedding. There's something so relaxing about climbing into bed with this fragrance on my sheets. I also love that the container is so chic. I leave it on top of my washer, and instead of some giant, garish detergent bottle in primary colors, this looks incredibly aesthetic. My ONLY complaint is that I need a separate container to measure out the detergent. I wish the container came with a lid that could be used to measure out the detergent. It's super frustrating to need a separate vessel for measuring. Other than that, I love the DedCool Xtra Milk!

I was super excited to receive the package, it is so cute, I have to be honest when you put your finger to pull out the safety cap it broke, It wasn’t as flawless as I thought, so I had to use a knife in order to open it, which, of course destroyed a little bit the original shape, but the big cap protects the content, it smells so great, It really washes amazingly, 100% recommended, and it’s vegan, the dream!!! All our products should be vegan! No animals have to be harmed in order for us to wash our clothing! I love the can and design it is really cute!

Only giving it three stars for a couple of reasons 1) I don't notice the scent lingering in my laundry after the wash. What is the point of spending the money on fancy amazing smelling detergent if the scent doesn't linger? And 2) it doesn't come with any easy way to measure a dose of detergent. So you either have to eyeball it or find a measuring item on your own. Last point, the cnta8ner did not seem to last me very long using the specified amount per load, so all in all, I probably will not repurchase. Although it does smell divine. I will keep buying the dryer sheets though.

I absolutely love this laundry detergent, it makes my laundry smell incredible while also looking and feeling really clean. I love how gentle it is while being so effective. It definitely works very well and even my workout clothes came out great and all odors and stains were gone. My whole family loves the scent and definitely will be a staple in our household!

I completely understand the hype around this laundry detergent! Saw it all over TikTok and figured I'd give it a try. I’ve been loving it and would definitely say it’s worth the price. It leaves our clothes smelling so good without being overpowering, and even my husband likes it, which says a lot. One of my favorite things about it is that it’s gentle enough for delicate clothing. I have a lot of Alo and Lululemon pieces, so I’m pretty particular about what I use to wash them and like knowing I’m using a detergent that’s better suited for those types of fabrics. It also feels like a little luxury every time I do laundry, which sounds silly, but when something makes a chore more enjoyable, I’m all for it! Definitely a detergent I’ll continue repurchasing. I find the bottle size to be a good/ normal size for laundry detergent as well and think I get close to what it says (50-60 washes roughly).

Truly, the best scent ever. But it essentially disappears in the washing machine and is just about undetectable on all of my freshly washed laundry. It doesn’t matter how much or how little I use per load, it still disappears. The dryer sheets don’t help either :( Such a bummer because oh how I wish I could scent my entire life with Mochi Milk. It is SO. GOOD. But alas, it seems that it’s only possible to enjoy when sniffing the box of dryer sheets and/or the container of detergent. Come on DedCool! Give us more mochi!

This is such a cool product! I’ve bought DedCool fragrances before, but hadn’t smelled Xtra Milk. As soon as I opened the can I was in HEAVEN!! The scent is clean and smells so fresh. Really incredible! *insert heart eyes* It was almost too good to use. And, it did a good job of getting my clothes clean. Unfortunately, the scent on my clothes wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. I also wish the cap were a measuring device or that there was some way to measure out how much you’re putting into the wash without using a makeshift device like a cup or shot glass. lol Maybe a transparent strip with hash lines (like a measuring cup)? There was mild leakage when it tipped over in my laundry bag, but the cap held on well for the most part. I haven’t had any skin irritation, though I can’t truly comment as my skin isn’t especially “sensitive.” I love that the container is refillable. It has a throwback vintage feel which is kinda cool. All in all, I think this is a very unique product and you should give it a try if you’re curious!
