Why does the powder go lumpy when I mix it?

This is normal, it's a pure protein powder with no fillers or binders to help it dissolve. Mix a small amount of warm water into the powder first to form a smooth paste, then stir in the rest. A whisk gives the smoothest, lump-free broth.

My dog doesn't drink much water. Will this help?

Yes. Mixed with warm water makes a savoury broth that encourages dogs to drink, which is especially useful for fussy drinkers. Use 1 teaspoon of powder per 100ml of warm water for a drinking broth, or 1 teaspoon per 50ml for a thicker gravy over food

Is this suitable for a dog with a chicken, fish, or lamb allergy?

Yes. It's made from 100% bovine bone broth with no other animal proteins, fillers, or additives, a good option for dogs avoiding poultry, fish, or lamb. Introduce gradually and check with your vet if unsure.

Is this suitable for puppies and older dogs?

Yes, it's suitable for dogs of all ages and sizes. It's often used to soften meals and add flavour for senior dogs, and works just as well as a daily topper for puppies and adults.

How long will one pouch last, and how much do I need?

Each 120g pouch makes up to 6 litres of made-up broth (1tsp per 100ml water). As a daily topper, a dog under 10kg needs about 1 teaspoon a day; larger dogs will use it more quickly.
