It was like unboxing the original game for a second time, which was super fun. Everything fits so perfectly in the original box, made me think they just took peices out of the original to sell for an extra buck. However, it definitely added more variety to the game that it needed. Super easy to figure out and same quality as original.

I love the game! IMHO, The expansion doesn’t really add anything new to the game, but it does help balance it out. Yes, there are new boards and pieces, but it’s similar to before. Though the frames change a little (for the better, adding more variety) That said, if you like Apiary, it cleans things up a little, I’d recommend it.

The additional hives makes the base game way more replayable. This is a must have expansion.
