Interesting flavour, different from other ryes in my collection... Zesty undertones disappear to a spicy whiskey that's smooth and sweet.. Makes a fantastic manhatten, but also very good as a sipping drink on ice. Very glad I added to the collection

Really smooth, tried a straight shot, smooth no burn or harshness. Makes a good tall drink or cocktail.

I mix this with regular bourbon whisky for old fashioneds. Gives exactly the right kick which is needed

A very nice drink, but I found it difficult to tell the difference in a blind test between this and JD Rye and so find it hard to justify the £20 difference in price

If you’re making a manhattan, this is hands down the best option on amazon. It’s my house rye. It’s not as stellar if you’re drinking it neat, verses a scotch say, as it’s a little strong, but it’s excellent for a cocktail.

A favourite and a very nice rye... You wouldn't know it was 100 proof, beautifully smooth, one for sharing, and a great one to try for your first time... This was the best price we've ever found for it, having purchased it more than once via Amazon...

This should be sampled by any and all fans of American whiskey! Prior to this I'd tried quite a wide range of bourbons and this is easily good enough to hold its own up there with the best of them...It has everything you'd hope for in a good whiskey, great body, depth of flavour and a lovely spiciness on the finish. It is different to bourbon, less glossy I'd say with more emphasis on an earthiness rather than the liqueur type finish you get with some bourbons.It goes well in cocktails too, I personally tried it in a sour, and old fashioned and a manhattan and I enjoyed all 3, however more often than not I found myself wanting to drink it neat given its absolute splendour!If you're curious about rye then I'd definitely recommend this one
