The battery on my 7-8 year old Kindle was getting tired, so I decided to finally replace it with a newer, larger model. I love the Kindle and have been a user since they first came out. I read about an hour a day and also travel with it, so it gets stuffed in my backpack a lot. Though I always use a case of some sort. - The larger screen is really nice, to me it was worth a few extra bucks. - I use Libby with my Library Card and can borrow books for free. Awesomeness. - Didn't think I'd noticed the increased resolution, but the finer resolution, contrast, and tinting makes reading really similar to a book. If fact, I read a real life paper book last month and found the Kindle more comfortable. - Battery life is loooong. I can spend all day in the airport or on a train and not worry about running low. I'm on week 2 of daily use and still at only 50%. All in all, I'm very happy with the Kindle and the price. Note: I splurged on the official Kindle cover-case, which is top notch and provides needed protection for traveling. It's super slim and fits like a glove. And it's kinda cool that the Kindle turns on/off when you open/close it. A little extra money than my older cheap case, but money well spent.

Out of all the Kindle Paperwhite covers, this one was my favorite! Apparently, I wasn’t alone as it sold out almost immediately during the June Amazon Prime Days! I really like the material, feel, and appearance with the clear back, the case quality is excellent and I loved the color. So far the material is water resistant and remains closed inside a bag - great for the beach or poolside. The provided stickers help make it your own - no engraving needed. Definitely recommend for your new Kindle Paperwhite.

I had the original Kindle years ago and never really enjoyed using it. The Paperwhite is similar but so much better. Could it be even better? Sure. As an e-reader however it is fantastic. Long battery life, easy on the eyes. This cover came as part of a bundle and it is perfect. It fits well, as it should, and holds itself open magnetically while in use and puts the device to sleep when closed. Easy to grip and barely noticeable when in use.

Fourth Kindle I've owned and the improvements are immediately obvious. Case attachment is quick and easy, secure and easy to hold, providing a secure closure. Lightweight and easy to read face in all light levels. Battery life is incredible. My entire library was completely downloaded very quickly, and the book I was reading before obtaining the new one opened to the accurate page.

I use it every single night, and it’s become one of my favorite purchases this year. What I appreciate most is how comfortable it is to read on. I use the warm light setting every evening, and it’s incredibly easy on my eyes. I’m very sensitive to screens before bed because they can affect my sleep, but reading on my Kindle has been a completely different experience. It’s become part of my nightly routine and sits permanently on my bedside table. Another reason I bought it was to simplify my home. I had accumulated hundreds of physical books over the years and simply didn’t have the space anymore. Switching to a Kindle has allowed me to continue reading without adding more bookshelves to my home. The wireless charging dock has also been worth it. I love being able to place the Kindle on the stand at night knowing it’s always charged and ready to go. The cover has protected it well and still looks great after months of daily use. The only thing I would do differently is choose a Kindle model that supports Audible. I enjoy listening to audiobooks as well as reading, so I currently have to use my phone for Audible. If I were buying again today, I’d probably upgrade to a model that lets me do both on the same device. Other than that, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s made reading more enjoyable, helped me reduce the number of physical books I own, and has become something I genuinely look forward to using every evening.

I got this one because it was the cheapest of the available cases offered by Amazon. I assumed that the 'fabric' would feel cheap, and flimsy, but I was beyond wrong: It feels premium in quality, and is rigid and protective (the colour of the protective shell blends perfectly as you can see in the included picture) while being extremely stylish. I originally only bought this because the case options on a new device are obviously limited. However, Amazon didn't take advantage of this just to prey on a market of people that are in desperate need of a case. Everything about it blows those $10-25 'leather' knockoff cases out of the water. The other cases I've used on my other devices like the Libra 2, and the Libra Colour felt almost like cardboard covered in leather, and that I could bend them permanently due to their flimsiness. This however, is rigid, premium feeling, and still compact enough to fit in my pocket. Amazon also didn't skim on the magnet strength, so unless you're wanting to open it, it's not opening. To put it short: It may seem pricey for a case, and the selection is obviously still limited as it just released... But you get what you pay for, and in this case (literally) it's pure quality.

Ho preso la custodia per il mio nuovo Kindle Paperwhite signature edition versione 2024 perchè non volevo rigarlo appoggiandolo sulle varie superfici, essendo in alluminio con una colorazione a prima vista delicata. Era in promozione questa cover originale così ho voluto provarla e devo dire che mi ha stupito molto per qualità e comodità. Va detto innanzitutto che ovviamente inspessisce un po' il dispositivo, rendendolo meno compatto e un pochino più pesante, però se pensiamo che lo protegge sia posteriormente che sul display da cadute e graffi, si può sopportare benissimo. Il materiale è plastico nella parte posteriore, che però rende questo kindle meno scivoloso dell'alluminio con cui è fatto, proteggendo soprattutto gli angoli; sil display invece c'è un materiale morbidissimo al tatto, rivestito all'esterno con un tessuto impermeabile con una trama piacevole. La custodia si incastra alla perfezione nel kindle e non si muove minimamente, inoltre la parte a coprire lo schermo ha una caratteristica comodissima: ha all'interno un magnete che quando si chiude manda in standby il dispositivo mentre quando la si apre lo riattiva subito, senza dover premere il tasto e scorrere col dito. La trovo una soluzione molto comoda, specie sul nuovo modello che è molto più reattivo dei precedenti; il magnete inoltre mantiene la protezione ferma posteriormente mentre lo si utilizza. Il colore matcha perfettamente con quello del kindle, il che la rende una custodia perfetta per i miei gusti. Concludendo le caratteristiche del prodotto sono ottime, la qualità è alta, il che giustifica il prezzo, se pur elevato per una semplice protezione. Se si sfrutta un coupon o un'offerta è molto più sensata, e sicuramente non mancheranno essendo un prodotto Amazon, speriamo solo duri molto come il dispositivo (il precedente kindle l'ho utilizzato per anni e ancora funziona bene).

O que mais gostei nesta capa é a maneira como ela se dobra para trás do Kindle. Isso facilita bastante a pegada e, ao mesmo tempo, proporciona maior estabilidade durante a leitura, já que o magnetismo mantém a capa nessa posição, evitando que ela se abra acidentalmente. Outro ponto positivo é a textura levemente áspera do material. Além de conferir um aspecto visual bonito e uma sensação agradável ao toque, ela também oferece uma aderência maior, ajudando a manter o Kindle firme nas mãos e evitando deslizes. É um pouco mais cara que as capas genéricas, mas considero que a qualidade, o acabamento e a praticidade compensam o investimento. No conjunto, é uma capa que vale a pena.
