Easy to install, great value, almost instantly forgot the hood ever had issues.

Bought these a long time ago. I wanted to make sure they weren't going to fail within a few months, before leaving a review. They still open the hood all the way when its 50% up and holds it up. I had bought a second set and they too are still working like new.

Easy install, and now I no longer have to worry about my hood hitting me in the back of the head.

Came fast. Strong units. But wished there was some instructions on how to remove and install. There are metal clips on the back of each side that you have to pry up a bit to remove the old one and install the new units. Once it’s on, you push the clip back down.

This product is a direct fit for Pontiac G8 and is a very simple install!
