Love this series
Excellent story, exceptional characters with cool powers, action, suspense. Harper's mischief was more low-key than the prior books, but still a good book. Few typos, hot spice, vanilla demon romance.

Amazing book, but audio needs to be reviewed better.
I absolutely love Suzanne’s books, and this is series is no exception. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because this is the 3rd audio book I have bought from this series and all of them are missing a section from the book that I have to go to the kindle version to see what I’ve missed that was skipped.

4.5 Knox Is Perfect Stars
With Knox and Harper as the main characters of Suzanne Wright’s Dark in You series, I know I’m going to love any book in it, and Ashes did not disappoint.I’ve decided in a perfect world, every woman would have her very own Knox. He’s a hot, sexy, driven, completely overprotective, alpha hero and best of all he has magic psychic hands and boy does he know how to use them. He loves Harper with his entire being, but despite his need to wrap her in bubble wrap and protect her from the world, he understands the need to let her fight her own battles. That being said, any fool who crosses her is a dead man walking. Once again Harper showed how much of a fighter she is and how perfect she is for Knox because let’s face it, without Harper, Knox would burn the world down and not care.Like the first two, Ashes had a lot, and when I say that, I mean a whole heck of a lot going on. At times I found it hard to keep up, but there were other times, especially in the middle, I felt like it was spinning its wheels just a bit. More than likely this was because annoying people kept intruding on my reading time and forcing me to put the book down. I am seriously proud of myself that I didn’t kill someone that day. I mean, besides the fact they got on my last nerve they were harshing my Knox vibe and there should be consequences for that!I could have done without such an extensive and detailed play by play of certain things- both the lead up to and the big showdown. Been there done that, don’t need to relive it again but I also realize I’m in the minority with that, and most will eat that up with a spoon. Parts did have me laughing, but yeah, I was cringing too. What makes this work as a series that focuses on the same couple (other than the fact that Knox and Harper are so freaking awesome), is they have excellent secondary characters surrounding them. Knox’s sentinels are literary eye candy–loyal, protective, and I envision them as hot as Hades, even Larkin and she’s a girl. Plus Harper’s family, the Wallis’…OMG. It’s actually the closest anyone has gotten to the craziness of my own family (without the larceny of course). There are lots of them, they are loyal to each other to a fault, and freaking hilarious because really how could a family who prides themselves on being grifters not be.I’m not going to give anything away, but I will say at the end I had a goofy smile on my face and kept saying “awwww” over and over and over again. I think my dogs thought I lost it. I can’t freaking wait for the next book.

Book 3 of 4
Ashes is the third book in the Dark In You series and continues Harper and Knox’s story. In the previous book, we learned that there is a group that call themselves the Horsemen that are after Knox and Harper. These Horsemen want to do away with all the Primes, and are targeting Knox and Harper because they realize their powers are the strongest and feel they are the most dangerous. Two of the Horsemen have already been killed but the identities of the remaining members are unknown.I adore Knox Thorne. Together, he and Harper are a really great couple. The love and trust they have in one another is undeniable and has grown deeper with each book. Their family is growing and they will each do whatever is necessary to keep it safe.I love Lou. He’s funny and laid back and you never know what he will do next. There are still jealous exes who have a hard time believing that Knox wants Harper when he didn’t want them. Harper’s family, Knox and the sentinels are overprotective and as usual Harper thinks she can handle everything on her own. Her pride and stubborness always cause her to be overconfident.Oftentimes authors provide minor background information throughout a book when it’s not the first book in a series in case a new reader decides to read the books out of order. That usually only happens however when a series consists of books that can each be standalones. I found this book repeated entirely too much information that we learned mostly in the first book, some from the second. It happened so often that it got annoying with all the retelling of facts and information. It felt like filler and took away from this story.

Fantastic
**SPOILERS**I loved this latest addition to the series. I loved seeing Harper and Knox's relationship develop and they move onto the next step...a baby! Was great watching Harper go through the pregnancy and Knox becoming a father...super protective!!I loved the story thread for this book, there were so many twists and turns that the end result was something of a surprise...but like always they overcame it and the bad guys got what they deserved. Three horsemen down one to go...It was great seeing the other characters too. Devon and Tanner are hilarious and I'm waiting for the book where they give into the sexual tension between them! And of course Lou was funny as usual, I do love some of the things he comes out with. And like it or not thanks to Lou and this amazing series I'm never gonna be able to think of Lucifer the same way ever again...he will forever be a psychopathic child with bi-polar and OCD!!I can't wait for the next book in the series and to see how baby Asher grows up!!

Seriously loved it, this series just keeps getting better
You’ve got to love a writer that can keep you guessing. I seriously love that Suzanne can still surprise me.Harper’s life hasn’t gotten any easier since she met her anchor/ mate, and it’s not set to change any time soon. Harper and Knox have been through a lot in their short time together but they aren’t out of the woods yet, as someone still has it out for Harper. The first attack sees Hunters trying to steal the wings that few people know she has. Thankfully, she’s strong enough to fight back. Now all they have to do is figure out who it is that’s targeting her.As the story continues, we’re launched right into the action from chapter one. We’re also not short on suspects, as almost anyone could be one of the two remaining horsemen and it seems that someone close to Harper might have betrayed her again. (As if having her half-brother attempting to kill her in the last book wasn’t enough). Even with most of the Primes looking for information on the horsemen they aren’t getting very far. So the race is on, as more than one life might be hanging in the balance. But enough about that, for now, let’s talk about the rest of the crew and what’s going on with them. Really there’s not too much to report from the others, though we certainly get to see all of our favourites again. I think that’s what I love most about Suzanne’s books, you pretty much fall in love with everyone and choosing a favourite character is incredibly difficult. The whole crew are a bunch of lunatics, but that’s why we love them. Right? It’s certainly why I love them. Heidi is as adorable as ever. Lou is seriously fixated on the idea of Harper and Knox having a child and is actually encouraging (more like practically demanding) that Knox knock his mate up. Tanner is still driving Devon mad and honestly I can’t wait to see what happens when those two finally get together, as I’m almost certain that they will at some point. (And the wait is killing me). Though, I’ll admit I’ve mentally matched off all of the staff of Urban Ink and I’m sure if you’ve read books one and two that you have too.One aspect of the book that stands out to me now, is the way in which all of the characters interact with one another. The bonds between all our favourite characters are growing stronger. The respect Knox shows Harper’s family is touching and the loyalty they all share for one another inspiring. And that’s a good thing, as the end of the book will see many of them working together for a common goal.Bring on book 4, that’s what I say.Profanity: ProlificSexual content: Frequent and explicitViolence: Frequent and severeCautionary element(s): Kidnapping and torture

sizzles with so much heat
This is the third book in the series and we are still firmly with Harper and Knox. Here they are once again facing another hidden enemy or maybe it's the same one who knows.Anyway, the Horsemen are for the moment on the back-burner as Knox and Harper both face head-on this new unknown threat and with the attempt to steal Harper's wings as well as other magical and physical dangers everyone is a potential suspect. This one again sizzles with so much heat and also had some major shockers. It wasn't as straight forward as I was expecting either.I really liked where we eventually left off with Harper and Knox with this one and I will definitely be continuing on with this series.

Brilliant
Another great book in Knox and Harper's story. As usual there are unknown forces out to hurt them. Knox is his usual protective sexy self. Harper of course handles his need to protect her like a pro. Great book with a lovely ending. As for that Linda - I'm so glad she got what she deserved. Is it kind of weird that I want Macaulay to live with Knox and Harper. I have wondered if the drawings he did were of him with them as a family unit.

Holy shateeee!!! This was everything and more 😍I'm not going to go into detail because it would definitely ruin the surprise (surprises 😉) but it's safe to say she, DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. Harper & Knox are my favourite characters of hers to date!. I never get bored of them and I pray hope there's more of their story. Also I'm curious about McCauley! I want to see him more with Harper because there's more than meets the eye with that little guy. Also Tanner and Devon need a story like yesterday😍.
