A nice little scale. I purchased this primarily for the "weight in grains" feature. When it's turned on, give it a few seconds to reset itself to zero, after that it's fairly straightforward and the direction are printed inside the lid so you'll always have them. I tested it with several different items of known weight, it was accurate and consistent. It reads grains to the tenth of a grain, that is all I needed. Inexpensive and functional. It is small, as the description noted, the screen is well lit and easy to read. A good value for the low price.

This is a veryyyy tiny scale- smaller than I anticipated even. But it is accurate and easy to use, and it works perfectly for my needs which are monitoring the growth of a very small hatchling gecko to make sure he is growing properly- 3.85 grams today, that's one tiny baby. Pretty color too and being so small it is easy to stash in one of my many reptile storage drawers.
