Definitely happy with this- better than expected with a couple minor cons
I want to give this 5 stars because it's so well designed and organized for assembly. I list my reasons below if you are interested.Pros: The parts are very good quality and it's definitely beyond a great value for the money. The instructions were well done for the most part, certainly better than most things I've purchased from Amazon, but I will not you probably want two people for this. It's probably not technically required but there were a couple parts, like when adding the hinges and the door we needed me and my husband to hold the door up for this. The size is perfect for my small space. I haven't used it for sewing yet but I do think the height will be more than sufficient. The unit is heavy-duty and the weight is solid, nothing flimsy or super cheap. I really like the design. The whole think is stable and solid beyond what I thought it would be for the price. Very pleasantly satisfied with the quality. Not a con, but the natural/wood top I chose is less 'bright' than pictured and what I thought I was getting. It runs a little more dull and slightly 'gray' in tone. I thought it would match my other 'beech' colored wood in my workshop and home, but it's more like a 'blonde' oak, if that's a thing, and I actually really hate oak furniture. The difference is not something I'm taking a star off for, though, because it could just be my monitor skewing the color and not any falseness in their photos. There could also be a variation in this style. It is laminate/veneer and not actual wood, and is slightly textured, in case that matters in your choice. If I bought this again I would have just gone with the white knowing the 'wood' top isn't wood, but veneer, and I don't want the texture.Cons: The 1 star deduction is for two reasons, neither of which should be a deal breaker for purchasing this sewing cabinet, because otherwise it's truly awesome.#1: The door will not clear the top to close with the dowel in it, which means to fully close the cabinet I have to remove the dowel every time and store it where it won't get lost, which means one day it will likely get lost. The dowel sits in the top of the swing door and there's a small notch on the underside of the fold-out table top that it fits inside so everything aligns and stays stable. I love this- except they didn't account for the clearance when closing it all back up. It will be a very small, but constant, point of frustration every time I use the sewing table.#2: As others have mentioned, the top row of spool storage sits too high to add full size thread spools and won't close if they are too big. This is a design flaw, because there IS room to have lowered the two spool storage brackets so this wouldn't be an issue, OR to offset the front panel under the table-top so full size thread spools would fit with no problem. Right now I have short spools on the top and they barely fit, with one slightly dragging the top every time I open the door. They would be better suited for bobbins, but for now this is working. Again, a very small inconvenience and problem but will be a constant source of frustration every time I open the door.

Pretty good but…
This arrived in excellent shape straight out of the box. It was simple to put together following the instructions. Problem came at the very end. The first picture shows that there is a piece missing from the veneer on the inside. There’s no way this could’ve gotten damaged because I did not even open up the top until it was all put together. Second thing is the hole in the top on the outside. I thought was kind of interesting until I went back to the instructions and realized I to put a dowel in the top of the door. Unfortunately, now that I put the dowel in the top of the door, the door won’t close so I have to sand it off a bit. I think it will be fine.In all, it took me probably three hours to put together. I worked on it a little bit every day for three days so it’s hard to really pinpoint the time. If you’re really good with a screw drill use a screw drill. It will save your hand a lot. Don’t overscrew the screws if you are using a screw drill. It is MDF and it will destroy it. The only other issue I have which I don’t really think is too horrendously a deal, is the dowels that go in the bobbin/spool holders are too big for the holes. Little sandpaper and will be done. I am just very interested on what I’m going to do to fix the top of this. All in all I would give it 4 1/2 stars just because it is what you pay for. It’s not super solid, but it doesn’t matter because you’re not paying for super solid stuff. You’re paying for something to hide something so that you don’t have to look at it every day. It’s a good value for the money easy to put together well packaged.

Convertible Sewing Table
Received my flat packed sewing table in April 2026. While I paid $99.00 for this convertible table; There are somethings that you need to know: This table I received is very top heavy (top already assembled perfectly), and all of the corners are sharp; be careful of this when sewing or crafting (snag your skin, fabric, craft items). When put together the joints are not tight, and I recommend a back panel on the table and angle irons. I will have to stabilize my table before thinking about putting the door on. A lot of though went into making this table; all of the wholes line up perfectly; quality covered particle board for the table & hardware, and it looks very good, however buyer beware, and be ready to work on it. Knowing what I know now; I would still purchase this table, and it will last me many years once I'm finished with it!

Nice cabinet
Very happy with the cabinet. Fits perfectly in my sewing room. Not too bad putting together (per hubby). Well made.

Good, but not great
The top row of dowels can't be used. The thread sticks out so the door can't shut. I even tried loading it with bobbins and they are too big as well so those are unusable.
