A cracking upgrade for an older car
This little thing is excellent for the money. Our Peugeot 107 is way too old for Apple Car Play, but this little device brings it right into the 21st century and is an absolute breeze to set up. I chose to use the dashboard mount, but you could mount it on the windscreen. The screen is really clear and sharp and not too big that it dominates the dashboard and obscures your view and it has the look and feel of a quality item, but only time will tell if lasts. With this installed I can now use Google Maps, make and receive hands free calls, play music etc, all the things that modern car audio systems do. As soon as I turn on the ignition the system fires up and instantly connects to my phone via bluetooth and up pops Car Play; for audio playback I have tried it using both the Aux connection and also the FM radio and both work well with good sound quality through the car’s stereo; you can use the in-built speaker but it is a little weak and tinny. The downsides? You do have to have a cable connecting it to the car’s cigarette lighter socket; I initially used the supplied lead with attached power adapter, but swapped it for a shorter USB C cable and separate cigarette lighter multi socket so that I also had power for my dashcam and iphone.

The device is generally good
Not bad little device, everything works out the box and quite a quick system.Screen size is more than ampleSound is alright through the device but you're not really buying it for that and works well through the aux, no issues with connection as of yetDownfall the sticky pads are absolutely useless and doesn't stick to anything 👎🏻 would recommend getting some 3m tape pads

It’s really Great
It does very well and has not crashed or done any glitches. Flawless and easy product to set up and maintain. Great installation and good value for money. To include a TF card 64 gb is great and it has an extra reverse camera. Great 4k camera footage too . Apple CarPlay is also amazing on it and it’s very touch sensitive screen too. Great for panoramic navigation and dashcam footage.Well done! I’d recommend 100%

Impressed but a couple of fundamental flaws
UPDATE: I have decided to return it. I found a fix for the sound issue but haven't found a way around the screen brightness/night mode and I couldn't live with having to go through all the settings every time I get in the car. Also, after I left the first review the seller contacted me twice offering to partially refund me if I send it back to them (not Amazon). They shouldn't be doing this. If you send the item back to the seller rather than Amazon you lose all the buyer protection. And of course I am entitled to a full refund through Amazon. BEWARE!Initially very impressed. The Android Auto user experience is exactly the same as it is on any car. You quickly forget you are using a £80 add-on device not a luxury car. But there are a couple of quite big flaws that I haven't been able to overcome:* The device doesn't automatically dim/switch to night mode when it's dark. There is an automatic dimming setting but it only works on a timer which you have to set manually. This isn't practicable for half of year because sunrise/set time changes every day. Your phone dims/switches to night mode automatically but there is no way of getting it to override the device. Even on the lowest brightness setting the screen is much too bright to use at night so you absolutely have to use night mode. The upshot is every time you drive you have to go in to the settings and change the day/night mode manually.* When you connect the AUX in to your car sound system sound comes out of both the device and the car speakers. This causes a strange echoing effect. Strangely there is no way to stop sound coming out of the device speaker when AUX is connected. The device also picks up a bit of interference from the engine so there is a slight buzzing sound that changes tune in time with revving the engine. For a while I thought there was a problem with my engine.I'm trying to find some workarounds for the above but I haven't been able to so far. The dimming issue could be a dealbreaker.

Secure fixing point necessary.
A very good and versatile item for your car. Picks up Google maps and other sat nav programmes with ease on a very clear screen. Transmits via Bluetooth from your mobile phone playing Spotify for example in chosen unused channel on car radio.
