This was perfect for my doors
This was perfect for my doors. Very easy to install. Product seems to be high quality. The 220º viewing angle is more than the typical peephole allowing you to see all angles outside your doors. One question that seems to come up is how do you install this? No instructions come with the product, however, you really don't need any with my review. First, know where you want the peephole on your door (comfortable height for all in the household who will use it, centered horizontally on the door, aesthetically pleasing placement as well). Mark the position with pencil once decided. Drill a pilot hole with ~1/8 inch bit that will go through the width of your door. Then take a 5/8 inch drill bit to drill through each side of the door through your pilot hole. Now, most drills do not accept more than a 3/8 inch drill bit due to drill chuck limitations. There are many drill bits out there that you can find that will take care of this. This is the one I also purchased on Amazon to achieve this. Here's the one I purchased: Togu DB-02 5/8" (16mm) High Speed Steel Drill Bit (Amazon ID: B01K45O8FI). It worked great. Again, please note that AFTER you drill your pilot hole, you should use your 5/8 inch drill bit from EACH side of the door. This is to keep your drilled hole clean from each side and prevent splintering of wood or metal. Afterward, blow out any debris from the drilled hole and place your door viewer through and screw tight. If there are concerns of air leakage (which most people shouldn't have, but still might be a good idea to do), you can take a tiny bit of caulking to seal it. I hope this helps people in their decision to purchase this door viewer. Thanks for reading! Togu DB-02 5/8" (16mm) High Speed Steel Drill Bit

Easy to install, brings piece of mind
This is a nice, solid product that is easy to install and will bring me piece of mind knowing who is outside my door! I installed it in a steel door in 15 minutes - and I am a complete novice when it comes to power tools. Fairly straight-forward to install though: Mark where you want your peephole; drill a pilot hole; switch to a larger bit and enlarge the hole from both sides (I used https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K45O8FI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ; unscrew the two parts of the peephole, insert from either side and screw back together. The view is excellent. Pretty sure I won't regret this purchase.

Easy to install with dremel and proper drill bit
Good product, but you will need a size larger drill bit than what the instructions say. I just widened the drilled hole (on metal door) slightly, with a Dremel. If you are drilling through metal, start with smaller size drill bits ;)

My peferred type/ brand
I've installed dozens of these for customers. They work well. They look nice and the inner cover is a nice decorative touch as well as being an important security aspect. When someone rings your doorbell, they can see changes in the light through the people as you walk up to the door. The cover prevents that. From an installation point of view, this one has a larger flange on the inside and outside so as to easily cover up any imperfections in the hole drilled through the door. Some of the store-bought peep holes have such a tiny flange that sometimes you can see the edge of the hole drilled through the door.

Clean appearance and not two-way
The installation was easy because I have steel doors. The hole size is larger than my largest drill bit, so I used a step-drill bit to enlarge the hole. I also like that even if someone removes the outer part, the inner part has a cover. This prevents anyone from seeing into the house.

a must buy
I say it is a must buy because once you have it, you know what you have been missing. I have two metal doors that needed drilling so I hired a professional lock service that drilled and installed it in a few mins. Highly recommended. Great value. Quality seems good.

very easy to unscrew from the outside
the overall quality is mediocre at best. there is no glass cover on the viewing end of the peep hole. so it is very easy to see the inside occupants. I would not recommend this to anyone
