This little stool has proven to be an absolute game changer for me. I have very painful arthritis in my knees and have recently developed a long-term illness which affects me in several different ways, including exhaustion, dizziness and a painful leg ulcer. After a period of hospitalisation, I decided that I needed to bite the bullet and start using some aids, particularly with regard to bathing as I don't have a walk-in shower, just a shower head over the bath. The stool took me 5 minutes to put together and is clearly strong and stable. I only ever shower (as opposed to sitting in the bath), and I keep this stool in the bath so that I can sit whenever I feel I need to. Then, when I've finished my shower, I wipe off the excess water and put it on the tiled floor so I can sit while I dry myself off. I've lost a massive amount of weight due to my illness but am still about 90kg, but this little stool is very sturdy and I feel safe using it. It has about 5 notches (like on a walking stick) for adjusting the height, so you can have it as high or low as you need. It really was worth every penny (although it was very reasonably priced anyway), and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Very straight forward and easy to put together. I was surprised at how light it was to pick up. It fits nicely in the bath and handy that its height is adjustable. I have yet to use it but I am looking forward for when I do. Delivery was quick and arrived within the time frame. I would recommend to others.

Really useful shower stool. Sturdy and fits in standard size bath. Recently broke my ankle so needed something to support me when showering. This fits the bill.

I am a bit torn with the number of stars for this product. I'm sure that it would be great in the right situation. I have therefore given it the benefit of the doubt and the fourth star.We will skip over the padded seat, because it was never going to be good. It would probably be slightly better is there was some way of persuading it to remain on top of the seat.My problem - I want to use this in the bath. It didn't occur to me to measure the distance between the feet, after all, it's designed to go in a bath .... or not. The stool will only sit in the bath 'sideways' - you would need to sit facing the side of the bath. Unfortunately, there is no space left for legs, so you need to leave them dangling over the side of the bath. Not safe or practical.I'm sure it would be fine in a shower cubicle, but it would be worth checking.
