Tama Club-Jam 4-Piece Shell Pack - Charcoal Mist

Suffice it to say the drums sound really good. A lot of reviews said the snare was not worth using. Maybe it's luck of the draw but the snare that came with mine sounds better than the ones I have in my collection. Go figure that this little inexpensive 13" snare could be my favorite/go to snare.Packing up is awesome - I leave the tom , the cymbal stand, and the pedal on the base and just throw it in the truck, practically the whole set is ready to set down and play.But yes do plan on mic'ing the base if gigging

I didn’t buy this kit from amazon, but it’s the same thing no matter where it comes from. It sounds AMAZING. I’ve always been a fan of 10” rack toms and this one does not disappoint. The 14” floor Tom is awesome as well. Without looking at it, you’d never know how shallow it is. The 13” snare drum has some serious crack to it when tuned high, and it can even do the medium/low thing fairly well. My only complaint is this; the stock heads are garbage. Throw them away as soon as you get this kit. While you’re at it, make sure all the lug screws are tightened down. I played on my kit for less than 4 HOURS and I lost a nut on the inside of my snare drum. Maybe a little Loctite would do the trick. This kit is absolutely worth the money, but expect to give it a little TLC to get it up to par in a couple of areas. Hope you enjoy your drums, everyone!

Blown away by this value! Got it as a light weight traveling kit for my gypsy punk band, paired with the "classic" Tama hardware pack, it's ridiculously portable. I put Remo pinstripes on the toms right out of the box, and an Evans emad bass drum head, and boom! Incredible sound! You could play any genre on this kit...bit of a finicky tune up, due to smaller sizes, but really happy with results.
