I bought a couple of fire extinguishers at a surplus auction, so of course they didn't come with brackets. I was delighted to find this on Amazon, the ones I purchased work perfect for 5 pound dry chemical extinguishers.

Didn't fit my 4lb Kidde Fire Extinguisher
Slot too small for the neck of the fire extinguisher. Can't say the product is bad. Just wish the description was more specific like what is the slot size.

Do yourself a favor-don’t waste your time with this one
Ordered this which arrived late. However the real issues I needed this right away and it does not fit. The description says it fits 2.5-5 lb fire extinguishers. Mine is 2.5 lb/3.3 lb and it does not even come close to fitting. I also expected them to send a couple of $0.02 screws and anchors. Not even that!

Sturdy and Functional
Perfect for hanging my vintage IH fire extinguisher. I did have to flatten the tips a bit to allow it to work. Not a problem.
