Lost it's finish. Irritated my daughter's skin.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas. Within a week of wearing it the chain became very dull and now its completely black. Ive tried to clean it with a light soap and water and it did not help. I am way beyond the return window so I will just have to sit with it at this point, unfortunately. Pretty disappointed as this was expensive and now she wont wear it and wants another, which I wont buy for fear of this happening again.

It was extremely cheap looking and the sent me a gold chain with no gemstone versus the silver with the purple gemstone one I had ordered. I would not give this to anyone.
