I installed 2 (bathroom & kitchen) of these as part of a basement finish I'm working on. The install was pretty straightforward schluter provides excellent instructions so I had no issues.The description says that a temperature sensor is included. With the thermostat that is not true, you get 2 temperature sensors with the heating wires.Once you get it online, it'll send you an email verification to register an account. Once you set up the account, you can log on using your computer and operate the thermostat and monitor the usage. You can also download the app and do the same thing. However, you need to download the correct app. You need to download the one that says E heat. I've included a photo of the one you need to download for this particular thermostat.Overall, i'm very happy with the With the entire system, it takes about five or ten minutes before you feel the heat on your feet. I can't recommend it enough.

I bought this because I had the old programmable version without wifi capabilities. I wanted an easier programming format that had online capabilities for my bathroom floor heater. This one did the trick. My electrician installed with ease since my original one had no problems. The setup though not seam less is not that hard. The hardest part was when you use the "@" symbol to put in your email address, don't exit out. One of the symbol button takes you back to regular italics (I made that mistake twice and it makes you start your email input all over again if you mess up). But once you get past that hiccup it was smooth sailing. Schluter sends you to a website (not their main one) once you start the process via an email confirmation. And you can download the iPhone app too. I would recommend once you pair your thermostat onto you wifi, then use use your computer to login from the email they send you, setup your schedule, then download the app on your phone. In that order. I really like once you give it your kWh it can show you how much you spend on a daily, and weekly basis. very nice touch.One last thing my old thermostat only went up to 74 F. This one goes up to 80+ F and you can really feel it. For the first time I had ever own this floor heater I had to turn it down. Great upgrade, highly recommended.

Easy to set up. Great display. Being able to control the thermostat using an iPhone is a big plus.

I really want all of your displays to be customizable. Whether I want the weather to be more front and center of I just want to do a little photo shuffle, take a page out of the brilliant wall mounted lcd screen page and give me some options.Ultimately the temp of my floor will stay pretty much the same so if it were more subtle that would be great. Give me more dynamic data as my main display option.

This thermostat works well with the DITRA-Heat system. I have no complaints, but I will offer two observations:Firstly, the connections on the back of the unit for the resistive heating cable and the 120V line feed are upside down. That is, the connections for the floor cable are at the TOP of the unit, and those for the line feed are at the BOTTOM. In my installation, the 120V feed came down from above, meaning that I had to fold both sets of cables to point in the opposite direction before installation. This exacerbated the second issue...By the time the line feed, floor cable, and two temp sensor cables are present, there really isn't a lot of room in the wall box. I strongly recommend use of a deep - or double-width? - wallbox with this unit. Which wasn't possible in my case, as my walls are (standard) 2x4" studding, so a standard depth box was all I could use. As a result it's a little tight in there.Other than those minor niggles, I'm happy with this. I'll definitely be installing the DITRA Heat system when I remodel the other bathroom in my home.

I bought this Schluter DITRA-HEAT-E-WiFi Thermostat DHERT104/BW but was not able to install it until recently since I was waiting for the floor heating cables to be installed. First thing I noticed was the package was clearly previously opened and then repackaged as new (of course, I should have returned it immediately, but gave this seller the benefit of the doubt). Clearly someone had already returned it, and then it was re-sold to me. Next, once it was installed, it seemed like it was working because there was definitely power and it was wired correctly. BUT it didn't work. I went to Home Depot and purchased a new thermostat and it works like a charm. However, due to the delay in getting my floors installed, I missed the 30-day return window. I would be happy to change my review if the right thing is done.

This Schluter heating system is awesome. I was aware they say it is not a room heating system but i feel the warmth radiating up. It is an easy system to install and the whole family thinks I am a magician now. I suggest you go to Schluter and watch as many videos that pertain to your install and follow up on youtube. It is just as easy as they show to install all of the components. Thanks Schluter.
