Being a woman of a certain age I needed the security to go up and down my staircase. So gladi got this

Bought rug for bottom of stairs, sticks well to the floor, a for non slip surface

The rug has a weird sticky backing. It would stay in place that’s for sure but it’s almost like a sticker. I was afraid it would ruin the wood floor’s finish. I returned it.

These have somewhat stayed in place; enough that they are holding their function of helping my aging dog get down the stairs without slipping. However, the edges tend to flip up. I wish there was a super sticky and or permanent solution to lie down. For the price point, I guess it's okay, hence the three stars.

Easy to install stick well but I used carpet tape as I have 7 kids running up and downstairs very durable way cheaper then having. We carpet installed and actually looks way better

The dye lot / color of these is way off from the matching stair treads. They are just as functional and easy to apply as the regular treads, but the inaccurate color (and mismatch) makes them 3 instead of 5 stars.

returned did not fit properly

Of course it lists to the size. So my fault that I did not measure it for daughter's house. I was told it was nice and would work well except for the size.
