Game-Changer for Long VR Sessions – Comfortable, Balanced, and Long-Lasting
I've been using the KIWI Design H4 Boost Battery Halo Head strap for a few weeks now with my Meta Quest headset, and it’s hands down one of the best accessories I’ve purchased. Comfort & Fit: The halo design distributes the weight much more evenly across the head compared to the default strap. It takes all the pressure off the face and makes extended VR sessions far more comfortable. The adjustability is excellent, and it fits snugly without being tight. Battery Life: The built-in battery adds a significant amount of playtime — I’ve easily doubled my usage time on a single charge. It’s great for longer sessions without needing to stop and recharge the headset. Plus, the rear battery actually helps counterbalance the front-heavy headset, which improves the overall feel. Build Quality: The head strap feels very sturdy and well-built. The materials are high quality, and everything from the dial to the connectors gives a premium impression. The USB-C passthrough works flawlessly. Setup: Installation was quick and straightforward. Just followed the included instructions and was up and running in minutes. Final Thoughts: If you're serious about VR and find the default strap uncomfortable or limiting, this upgrade is absolutely worth the investment. It’s made my overall VR experience smoother, more immersive, and far less fatiguing.

Excellent Option in a Sea of Choices
If you're new to VR like me, you're probably starting to realise how many extras you're going to need to make the most out of your headset. It also soon becomes clear when reading up about the Quest that the first thing that needs to go is the bundled strap. It really is abysmal. I looked at a lot of options and narrowed it down to this Kiwi H4 and the BoboVR S3, but the Kiwi was on offer for a great price and after digesting lots of reviews I went for this one. It's easy to fit, has plenty of adjustment options and is VASTLY superior to the bundled strap. Super comfortable over long periods and much easier to position for the sharpest visuals that the awful bundled strap. Battery life seems great - between setting up accounts on my headset and playing some games, I was on it for a good 4 hours and it still had plenty of juice left. Charging time if good and if left connected to the main Quest unit it'll charge that too. It's an added expense to an already expensive piece of tech, but absolutely worth it if you want to get the most out of your Quest and enjoy extended laying time.

Game longer, stay comfortable — VR without limits
you’re a Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S owner looking to drastically improve comfort and playtime without splurging on official accessories, the KIWI Design H4 Boost Halo Battery Strap is a compelling budget-friendly upgrade. This headset strap combines enhanced ergonomics, extended battery life, and smart charging features to tackle two of the biggest limitations of the stock Quest strap: discomfort and short sessions.

THE must have accessory for Quest 3.
I’ve done quite a bit of research about better head straps for Quest 3, looked at many options but decided on this Kiwi H4 Boost, and my instincts were right 😀 It came very well packaged, ready assembled to fit to your quest 3 headset. Easy to follow and relatively simple instructions for fitting. Very good quality components, feels strong and premium. There are a few ways to get your perfect fit, take the time to experiment and you will find it! Obviously everyone’s head and facial structure varies in size and shape, this head-strap affords several options to achieve optimal fit. This halo head-strap delivers exceptional comfort and extends your quest 3 battery and use time to at least double. Head strap supports charging the head-strap battery simultaneously with the quest 3 internal battery - saving time and very convenient. And believe me, this takes so much pressure off your face, (no dents or red marks left on your face unlike the stock strap!) you WILL want to stay in VR for way longer - the perfect combo of comfort and long play. I am now so happy to be able to walk around the house in mixed reality mode, I even answer the door with it on and certainly don’t care about the odd looks that I get - that’s how great it is; I don’t want to take it off !!

Comfortable and extends play time
Bought this to extend the play time on my Meta Quest 3 and it doesn’t disappoint. The battery gives well over an extra hour of gameplay, and the head strap sits comfortably without feeling awkward. It was easy to attach and makes longer VR sessions much better.

One of the best on the market.
This has to be one of the best on the market for a halo strap. It has weight from the battery but not as much weight as another competing product that has quite a lot crammed into the strap (a 10kmAh battery plus air conditioning!). Therefore providing a little more comfort and less stress on your neck when moving around. As for having a halo strap itself, that itself is a no brainer as it counterbalances the headset on your head, and simply makes it easier to put on and take off, as well as kinda giving you a 'handle' to carry it around the house via. With this halo headset I have Kiwi's own carry case (the huge juggernaut one that looks like an egg) and this fits the headset with halo strap nicely, along with the 2 controllers (with grips) although they need a slight shuffle so they're in place without the triggers being pressed down and hence draining the batteries. The USB-C passes power through although I don't actually use the battery much because I'm only using the Quest 3 for an hour at a time (motion sickness) and hence keep it unplugged and just charge my Quest directly. But it functions very well and can be connected permanently and then the entire thing charged from the USB-C on the battery pack itself. I've had this halo now for 4 months just to add.

Comfortable, good battery time and takes the pressure off my face
I sent the first one back with charging issues but the headset is great and it does work with no face cover ideal for working for long hours for air flow. I won’t be looking any further it’s ideal Edit. A while later. If you run the headset right down I find the charging keeps stopping. I charge the headset directly for a while then change it back to through the headset. That seems to work.

3.5 id say -
Its infinitely times better than the original headset. Pros, -no pain on head -Not really heavy -Charge the headset (not sure for how long but they claim 2-3hrs, I suspect 1-2 hours) Cons -It feels quite loose when playing shooting games, you will need to hold the headset when looking down -Its a halo strap so the back bit rest around your crown, it would be nicer if you could move it to the lower part of your head - DOES NOT feel comfy when laying down despite what it is advertised as, there is a massive battery that pushes your head forward, its incredibly uncomfortable laying down - the price seems to vary, i got my for £75 reduce from 95 its a bit pricey imo Overall, I'm happy with the headset, its hard to compare as this is the only 1 I have.

Needed upgrade to your Meta Quest 3
Just received so can’t speak to longevity, but this is leagues ahead of the stock strap! Comfort is drastically improved, battery life is also extended considerably. It is true, the cord that plugs the battery pack into the side is MUCH longer than needed and looks a tad goofy but does not impact performance. I actually wrapped my around a part of the headset and not it’s barely noticeable. I’ve tried this and the other variant offered by Kiwi and although this one is the “comfort” while the other version is suggested for more physical movements, I found this one to offer way more stability. It’s certainly a game changer! Especially if you can find it on sale! Under $90

Pretty good but with a flaw
Works well as a halo strap but it's impossible to use without the facial interface. The headset will just flop in front of your face without an interface as the hinge doesn't have the strength to hold it in place by itself.

Le confort et l'autonomie
Le produit améliore le confort et l'autonomie mais j'espérais mieux.
