Great Tankless RO System
Replaced an 8 year old tank system with this. The installation was very easy. Watched the video online at Delta and it helped a lot. Directions are good also. Hooked up to my refrigerator also and the pressure of the water coming out is really good. The noise of the pump is very minimal and not annoying at all. I hooked up a small booster pump to my old system and it was much louder. No booster pump needed with this and the flow is much faster!! Seems to be a quality Delta product. I called Delta to check and ask if the refrigerator needed any additional equipment for good flow and they said it would be good as is. Great customer service.

Noisy and Wastes Water!
This is the worst water filtration system I have ever had. It makes noise like a train is coming down the street whenever you turn on the faucet. Then it recycles every 15 minutes and wastes so much water. Do not buy!

VERY QUIET if you do install correctly, LOVE THIS THING!
This replaced my old Aquasana RO filtration system that used a tank. This Delta one is far better in many ways and I’m really happy with my purchase. First the total cost of ownership is less, there is no tank so I can use lots of water for cooking and drinking all at once, the system tells me when to replace the filters, it wastes less water and the water comes out really fast and tastes good. Now to the noise. It’s not a problem AT ALL! I was concerned reading the reviews here that it was going to be really noisy when it was running but I can barely hear it in the under sink cabinet and the water landing in my glass is louder than the machine. There is a customer video here of it being really loud which was concerning but after doing my own install I can say as an engineer that if anyone is having a noise problem they either have a defective unit or didn’t install it correctly. If the machine is in spec and you install it correctly you won’t have a noise problem, simple as that. In order to ensure mine would be quiet I had to take some very specific steps - preloading all the water lines with water to ensure when first turning on the unit that no air was sucked in, ensuring no tubes touch the sides of the unit while it’s running by doing a clean and organized install, not using an air gap faucet (they aren’t needed for tankless systems like this unlike the old tank RO systems that do need the safety feature of an air gap), and finally using sorbothane vibration isolating feet on the unit instead of the factory feet which isolates vibrations from reverberating through the sink cabinet and making noise. If you do all of those, you’ll be set! (If you watch the video I attached you can hear the faint dull hum of the machine filtering in the background as the glass fills) (Photo is of sorbothane feet for vibration isolation)

Ridiculously loud! But water does taste good.
Shockingly LOUD. Buyer be aware. I hired a plumber to install new Delta Clarifi system with pre-filter and demineralization cartridge. Instructions are not included. Plumber was expected to watch a 30 minute video to see how to install the system. Before purchasing I read other reviews that noted noise one stated a “bit noisy” however several made no mention of noise at all. I figured noise is subjective and being a Delta product, how bad could it really be, it is bad! not only is it loud when the faucet is running, but the unit also runs a cycle on its own about once an hour that is super loud as well. Thankfully, the water does taste good and I like having access to filtered water so I’m keeping it even though it is ridiculously loud. I also like that it fits under the sink without taking up too much space. I don’t understand how Delta could release a product that is so loud!!

Clean water, no tank, zero hassle
We’ve had the Delta Clarifi installed for about 9 months now and it’s been a huge upgrade. We had a traditional RO system with a big bulky tank before. This one freed up a ton of space under our sink. I was honestly shocked by how much room we got back. The water tastes noticeably better. Clean, fresh, no chlorine or chemical aftertaste. It fills glasses quickly too, which I didn’t expect from a tankless system. It looks sleek, runs smoothly, and is certified to filter out all the stuff that matters like lead, chlorine, PFAS, and more. Filter replacements are simple and it reminds you when it’s time so there’s no guesswork. A couple quick tips. It does need power, so make sure you have an extra outlet available. Ours was taken up by the garbage disposal, so we installed a Garbage Disposal Wireless Switch Kit and now everything runs seamlessly. There’s also a short flush process during setup but it’s easy and well explained. After 9 months, still very happy. Great water, no bulky tank, and a cleaner, more usable cabinet.

Worth every single one of the 70,000 pennies it costs
Is it expensive: yes. Turn-key ready to go: yes Does the water taste amazing: yes Did I pay more than I would care to admit between this and the champagne bronze delta spigot: double-yes Would I do it again: absolutely There is no comparison between this and the multistage water filter that was not effective at properly filtering our city-water. The drain sounds as it is working take a little getting used to again, but that sounds like any other reverse osmosis system. The pump in it sounds a little like the water pump in an rv, but the ease of use is perfect. The water quality speaks for itself, and there is no going back. I finally feel like the water is safe to drink for my family, and my kid’s actually seem less irritable since we installed it!

DO NOT Purchase a Delta Clarifi Reverse Osmosis System
DO NOT purchase a Delta Clarifi RO! Delta will not honor their 5-year warranty, which includes parts and workmanship!! I purchased the Delta Clarifi in December 2024. After the plumber who originally installed it moved the RO unit from my former home to my new home, changed all the filters, and reconnected it, he could not get it to stop running, even after troubleshooting with Delta tech support. The plumber told me to have Delta honor the warranty and get a new unit. It was worth invoking the warranty instead of buying a another brand since I had purchased three filters for each process (3 RO filters, 3 CF filters, 3 pre filters) and 3 remineralization cartridges. The filters and remineralization cartridge are very expensive (x's 3)! Situation Report: After my plumber talked to Delta support and could still not get the unit to stop running, he left. I then connected with Delta online to ask a representative to honor the warranty. The rep said that a photo sent by my plumber showed a line had a loop in it and was causing the problem. "Why didn't the support rep speaking with my plumber tell him about this 'loop' so he could resolve the problem?" I asked. The Delta rep told me the plumber was supposed to call back so he should be told about the loop in the line. I told the Delta rep I had hired a plumber for $150/hour to perform the removal and reinstall and that he had talked to Delta support when the unit would not properly reinitiate its operation. I asked the Delta rep to send someone out to fix it. The rep said he couldn't do that. I then asked, "So now what?" The Delta rep had no answer. I asked the rep for the mailing address for Delta's registered agent in my state to properly deal with Delta refusing to honor the warranty. The rep didn't know the address for Delta's registered agent, either. He gave me a phone number for a sales rep in California. I left a voicemail with that sales rep. I'm in the same time zone, but have not been called back.
