I got this product to see if it would work when I braided my hair. And I must say it is a perfect alternative to braid gel or braid jam, especially if you’re looking for something vegan and does not have all the chemicals that most braid jams at the beauty store carry. The scent is on point. I don’t know how Tabitha Brown got to this perfection of vanilla, but this is a very light vanilla, even with her other products that have vanilla. I wish she would come out with a larger size for those who use it for braids and twist-outs. This edge control size is like a travel size for me. There should be maybe a 10-ounce jar, especially for braiders. I would quickly pay $50 for a larger jar at a minimum. However, not having breakouts and other health issues from using some other products is worth the money. I don’t lay my edges; my hair is naturally kinky 3c/4a. I was using Curls Blueberry Bliss Edge Control for a braid jam. But I will switch to Tabatha Brown's edge control on my next twist out.

Hello Donna, thank you for this edge control. I have been through several edge gels. They are good products but your edge gel is my #1. Finally I found something that last long and does exactly what I wanted. I have natural hair and after 8 hours of work when I get home my edges are still smooth, and it has a great smell. I am inlove with this product.

Not my favorite. Has a nice smell but makes my hair curl. Doesn’t hold. Very greasy for my liking. And I love aunt Tab! I had high hopes for this.

Very rich smooth to the touch! Thin and a real moisture level to it, easy to apply. Has a good scent to it as well. Plus foe the hold!

Love it!! helps edge growth and control and it smells amazing!!

Did not work well for my hair that is chemical relaxed and with hair color. I use Honey Mimosa by Carol's Daughter hair oil instead.
