Let's shut off that check engine light
Works better than expected, cleared my check engine light for bank 2, catalytic converter, good stuff, after the initial use it was still that rotten egg smell but after about a week that even went away I am very pleased with this stuff and will be using again

Used this in my Vw in August was doing a little better but was still running sluggish like something was slowing the flow of power…tried a second can in November then in January this made the Vw run amazing like a new car. The acceleration response is immediate no more lag…will buy this product again

Worked in combination with Cataclean to keep code clear.
So I had the P0430 code on 2005 Cadillac STS, which true dual exhaust meaning there are two catalytic converters and just the cost of those along would be well over $1000 before installation. Figured I would try Solder it as well as Cataclean together to see what happens. On almost full tank, I poured entire bottle of Solder it into the tank and drove as normal until reaching just under 1/4 tank at which point, per instructions on Cataclean, I put in bottle of that and drove per instructions before filling tank and continuing to drive as normal. For first 3 days, car kept throwing the same P0430 code and I kept clearing it out. On day 4, I drove into work and just out curiosity, I attempted to use my remote starter (this function will not work if there is a code stored in computer) and it started right up, meaning, there was no code. Usually the code would appear within minutes of clearing it if I started the car or drove it at all. So, these two products together, have at least had some improvement in clearing the P0430 code I was receiving. Long term, not sure at this point. But, I will most likely run the same two products again in a month or two and see what happens again. I will update with any new information. But as for now, I would rate this at 4 stars since it did what it was intended to do and I have definitely observed less of an odor from my exhaust.

Use the whole can until you’re almost on empty.
I was skeptical about this item until I tried it. My truck was hard starting like RRRRR RRRRR RRRRR VROOM ; Now it’s like RRR VROOM every time.

Didn't Work for Me
I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. The engine light came on one day, and I diagnosed it with a diagnosing unit I purchased from Amazon. The code pointed to a faulty catalytic converter. I drove 200 miles to another city a few days later and discovered that the light disappeared about half way but later reappeared after my return. Previously, the light had disappeared for a few miles after using Lucas fuel additive. I decided to give this product a try after reading about the positive experiences others have had with it. After receiving it, I added it to a half tank of fuel and drove for about 60 miles. I kept waiting for the engine light t go off, but it never did and has not disappeared since then. I noticed that some used two containers to achieve positive results, but I decided not to order another one.

Works well but poor quality control.
This is a product that has always worked very well for me. The case of 12 I ordered only contained 10. I would have sent it back but I needed its use now. Good product but when there are 12 slots in the box and you only put in 10, that’s poor quality control.

It actually worked....Go Figure...
This was a shot in the dark, but for $12 why not! About a month ago my CEL was popping on and off intermittently. I had a code reader already I had not one, but two P0420 codes--and one of them was permanent! I immediately thought it was my cat converter going bad, specifically because of the permanent code. I did the visual checks and nothing appeared melted or out of sort, so I began to do all the research I could. I tested the temperature and also the O2 sensors and they checked out. I began to get even more nervous that it was in fact the cat going bad. I was looking for a legit way to clean the converter without having to take it off. People had suggested lacquer thinner, but that didnt seem to work for anyone that had actually ran it through their fuel system. So, I started looking online and this was the only product that had positive reviews beyond belief to actually clean the cat system. Low and behold.....200 miles later, and no more CEL, it also cleared my permanent code! :O how i did it: Ran my car down to less than a 1/4 of a tank of gas. Poured 1 can of Catalytic Converter Cleaner & Deodorizer into the gas tank. (funnel recommended :) ) Ran that 1 tank of gas to about 20 miles left ~. Reset CEL Filled my car back up to a 1/4 tank of gas. Burned that off Refueled to full Hooked up obd2 reader once more to see if P0420 codes were existent at all...Nope, Permanent wasn't even there anymore. Fuel efficiency is actually up a few mpg. went from 25 to 27 mpg and also my car is noticeably more silent when punching the gas. I've been driving for about a week now and it has not popped back up yet. If you feel like your cat is dirty or dont want to shell out money for a new O2 or even a new cat, I would definitely say this is worth the $12.

It works!
I first tried using Cata Clean and it did not work. I used this product 4 days later with about 9 gallons of gas in my tank. I drove the SUV for 200 miles and my check engine light turned off. Worth the time trying since it can save you money in repair costs with a mechanic.
