Perfect, simply perfect.
We purchased this style of Samsung watch many years ago, and they have served us well, but unfortunately, the battery appears to have a life span too. I was able to find the Gear Fit2 Pro watches on AMAZON, and we've both noted that the battery life is about 2 days of wearing, the original watches we had would need recharging a little over 24 hours of on time. I'm impressed with these new Gear Fit2 Pro watches. The watches do what we want them to do, keep time, tell us what the day and date are, what the outdoor temperature is.Unfortunately, Samsung has chosen to NOT SUPPORT the Gear Fit2 and Gear Fit2 Pro after products manufactured after January of 2025. I am hoping that Samsung won't also decide to shut their software support down after then too, because these new ones are really a much better product than the original Gear Fit2 watches, and for the day they were quite an item. They let us know what we wanted to know.

Great Value
I wanted the Gear Fit 2 Pro because it does smartphone notifications and has a built-in GPS, all for $200. Almost every other smartwatch with those specs will cost you upwards of $300. So far this thing has been great for activity tracking mostly, and phone notifications when I need it. The one thing I wasn't sure it did was sleep tracking. Didn't see that mentioned on any of the specs while researching, but it does indeed track sleep. Durability and battery life are awesome. The only thing I've stayed away from based on my research is swimming - the water proofing seemed to be the only thing that got consistently bad reviews, so I just don't even chance it. And I got this one refurbished so it was $70 cheaper and still has worked like new for the time I've had it (over a month so far, using it every day and working out with it at least 5 times a week). Great product!

Good fitness tracker
I was really leery about this but so far, I like it. I have had it for over a month now and I wear it almost constantly.I do not know how accurate the step tracker is - I do not expect step trackers to be super accurate; I just want a "ball park" idea of how much I move around. The watch is relatively comfortable to wear and there are a multitude of different bands you can purchase to fir your own tastes. Some of the bands can be a little tricky to get off but that is better than having them fall off and losing the watchI don't use most of the apps. The one I use are the music player (which works much better than I expected) and the exercise trackers. Most of the other apps will probably cost you to use.You can personalize the watch by modifying the display to show what you want to see and how you see it. Combine this with the different band options and you can make this very much a reflection of you.I like this watch/fitness tracker. I have had different ones before that were ok but this one comes closer to what I really like than anything I have had before. My biggest requirements are to track fitness, and actually tell time (it is basically a watch) and this does both.If you start walking (or other exercises), it detects it. If you sit too long, it tells you. If you get a test or a call, it tells you and allows you to send rudimentary responses right from the watch.I didn't give it 5 stars as I don't give anything 5 stars ever - nothing is perfect. The only issues I have with the watch and it is minor, is that I have not been able to find a way to see the battery power indicator from the watch itself. I have to put it on the charger before I know how low the battery is. The watch does tell you when it is getting low but if you are out somewhere, that may be too late to charge it.I like this watch. If something happens to it, I will probably get another one

Short battery life
I’ve owned a new one of these watches and it wouldn’t need to be charged but every 2 to 3 days. I bought this refurbished one to save on costs, however, I would have to charge it everyday. It wouldn’t even last a full day of daylight.

Samsung is the BEST
Works beautifully! Easy to use and helps a lot with my attempt at a healthier lifestyle. So far, it has worked just as good as a brand new watch. I know that it was refurbished by Samsung. I would be hesitant to buy a refurbished watch from anyone other than Samsung being that Samsung is their maker. I'm a big fan of Samsung!!! Samsung is the BEST. ABSOLUTELY #1. I would buy and recommend Samsung new or refurbished to anyone!!! Thanks

Poor battery life and notification issues
I am currently using this watch with my Moto e4 plus with 2 gigs ram and android Nougat and I was looking for a good smartwatch and figured this Samsung gearfit2 pro was the right choice but i was wrong. First the battery life is very poor you basically have to turn off every health feature and uninstall every health app to make the battery last more than 3 hours this makes the watch useless. Also notifications will work for a while then suddenly stop and then i would have to reset the watch and uninstall the app to get it to work again. I contacted Samsung numerous times about this issue and they refused to even discuss the issue in which is their fault due to the last update all i got was run around. Anyone wanting a smartwatch i advise to avoid this product at all cost there is better options out there that is why i am going to just get the Fitbit Versa or Garmin smartwatch i refuse to buy another samsung mobile device again their phones are even junk. Also Samsung can careless about their costumer feedback and the fact their recent update to the watch affected it in a bad way THEY DO NOT CARE their philosophy is "You bought it now we have your money OH WELL"

Syncs great with Samsung Health!
My husband decided it was time to get a watch to, not only count his steps and heart rate, but to keep track of his sleep. He is forever waking up tired, even after a full 8 hours. He told me this was a great investment for keeping keeping him his track to a more healthful lifestyle.
