if you want a good basic Merlot this ticks all the boxes, if you didn't know the price you would think it's more expensive

Tolerable Cab Sauv, nothing special.
Decent enough as a budget red when on special, but totally unremarkable.

Leakage
Tonight we opened a bottle from this order only to find it was leaking. On tasting the wine had a vinegary taste and was (sadly), therefore, poured down the sink!. We've enjoyed McGuigan's Black label wines for many years and this is the first time this has happened. I thought you would like to know. On checking the other bottles are all fine. The above rating is for the other bottles!

Very nice clean wine
Full of flavour and easy to drink. Seems to have less of the additives normally added to wine. Though of course the additives are never labelled but it tasted clean

Alcohol strength and year not as advertised
Quite a good wine but % volume advertised as 13.5%, when they arrived was only 12.5%, so a little disappointed and also advertised as 2015 year but these are 2018
