Does this fit the Taurus g3

I don't think so,what I read it was a little bigger than the g2 and a little longer but you might to to google and see if you can compare

Clipped to the belt, is there any reason that this can't be worn between the belt and the waistband?

It’s pretty slim line but you’ll have to allow an extra inch or so of wiggle room if you choose to use it as a ccw holster

I don’t believe so. You can see what will fit it in the descriptions. You can also type what kind of gun you have and it should pull up what u need.
