Girafit 3MP 2K Window Camera,2.4GHz & 5GHz WiFi Indoor Cameras for Home Security with ChroMax Al Color Night Vision,Person & Motion Detection,24/7 Recording,Easy & Quick Install

I bought a pair of these to replace some old Logitech Alerts I had using Powerline with Blue Iris recording the videos. I'd seen that these Window Cameras supported RTSP on Girafit's website in the FAQ section. After contacting Girafit support the FAQ stated they'd send new firmware to enable RTSP so I could continue using Blue Iris to do my own recording/storage. Initial setup was very easy with the Girafit IOS app. I emailed Girafit support and they responded within minutes, told me what info they needed to enable RTSP, so I replied with my Girafit account details, and they replied almost immediately again and said they'd push the firmware within 6 hours.... but it took them far less. With that firmware loaded RTSP worked immediately and I've been using Blue Iris for constant monitoring + recording with these cameras ever since. Frankly their own Girafit app was pretty good but I wanted a little more control on my side. Quality of picture even at night is good enough for my needs, installation was easy, very responsive customer service - we're off to a great start! I've only had very minor issues, which I will put here just in case somebody from Girafit sees this or in case it helps another customer: 1) These devices wanted the MicroSD cards pre-formatted for FAT32 before it'd use them, apparently I had a different file system on my old ones and so I had to format to FAT32 using my PC first. 2) If using the built-in timestamp on video with their timezone setting, they don't have Arizona timezone, i.e. PST and MST are available as selections in the Girafit app, but in choosing either of those the time will be an hour off for residents of Arizona for 6 months out of the year and we would have to change the setting again manually with DST shifts. There are approx 8 million of us in Arizona, would be nice if they added an appropriate timezone setting. Ultimately a non-issue because I disabled the Girafit timestamp and have Blue Iris doing it instead.

I intentionally waited a few weeks before writing this review because I wanted to see how these cameras performed in real-world use. I purchased the two-pack in early June 2026 and installed them almost immediately. Simply put, these cameras are outstanding. The 2K image quality is incredibly sharp, and the clarity is better than anything I’ve seen in this price range. My husband and I own a security company, so we’ve worked with a wide variety of camera systems over the years. It takes a lot to impress us, but these definitely did. The 3 and 4 am shots are incredibly clear like almost daylight. Nothing on the market is even close to this clarity. The installation was quick and easy, and app set up was a breeze. and I love that they mount inside the window, so there’s no drilling or exposing the cameras to the weather. They connected without any issues, and being able to use either 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi is a nice bonus. The local microSD storage gives me peace of mind, and I like having access to the last 72 hours of recordings without paying a monthly subscription. We’re using them to monitor a second home we own in another state, and they’ve made it incredibly convenient to check on the property anytime from the app. For about $90 for a two-pack, I honestly don’t think you can beat the value. The SD cards ended up costing almost as much as the cameras themselves! I was so impressed that I’m already ordering two more to use as regular indoor cameras. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone looking for high-quality security cameras without the high price tag. Excellent purchase!

I’ve been very pleased with the Girafit W150 2-Pack security cameras. The video quality is sharp during the day, and the night vision is excellent. The audio is clear, making it easy to hear what’s happening around the cameras. I also really like the angle mount, it makes it simple to position each camera exactly where I need it for the best viewing angle. Overall, these cameras were easy to install and provide great performance for the price. I would definitely recommend them. I will be purchasing more for added security for my investment properties during remodeling.

These are great cameras, purchased the two pack, and just picked up another one for the back yard. setup was a breeze, zero issues. I see other reviewers complaining about the app, however, I find it reasonably easy to use and relatively intuitive, could it be better? of course, but still very usable. video clarity is great, including night view, which literally looks like daylight. That said, I do have a fair amount of light via garage lights and streetlights, so that likely helps, in pitch black night, might be another story. only time will tell how the cameras function after continued bright sunlight exposure, however, so far, so good!

Works extremely well. The night vision makes it look like it’s daytime, you can literally see everything as if the sun is out snd it’s totally dark out. I love that. Easy set up.

This thing sucks. The setup process is annoying as can be The camera talks through a speaker, repeating the same useless instructions once every 30 seconds or so. There's no way to turn the volume down or disable the speaker, so if you encounter any issues with the setup process, you'll be treated to the camera repeating "please use the app to configure blah blah blah" twice a minute, loud enough to be heard from another room, while you try to troubleshoot. Even if you're doing everything right, it'll still yap at you throughout the process for reasons beyond my comprehension. Maybe they want you to rush through the initialization process just to shut it up, hoping you'll enable their app to access your phone's precise location indefinitely without a thought. Oh, right, you also need to download their smart app to use this thing. Anyone else tired of everything always needing an app these days? Would be nice for a security camera to make that optional, but here we are. The camera itself also sucks. It'll frequently send me push notifications about detecting a person outside, only to show absolutely nothing when I check the feed history. Apparently the breeze or a chihuahua can look like a person to this stupid thing. And it's not just false positives that are a problem; I've had situations where people pass right by it, but it doesn't catch a single image of them or notify me in any way. An expected delivery, meaning there's now a large package sitting on my doorstep that's visible to anyone in the vicinity? Nothing. A squirrel farts on the sidewalk? PERSON DETECTED, CHECK YOUR PHONE IMMEDIATELY! Peace of mind? Yeah right. After using this thing for almost two years, I'm 100% convinced someone could break into my home to rob me blind, and the only "evidence" this camera would catch would be a rodent it mistook for a person that passed through the yard five minutes after the thieves took off. For home security, this camera is about as useful as a decoy. Actually, a decoy might be an improvement; at least with a fake camera you get to skip the annoying and unnecessary robot chatter and setup headache, you won't have to download their sketchy app, and it won't pester you at work any time there's a bird in your yard.

I purchased this window camera in January 2025, and it has been a great camera. It has worked well and reliably, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a window camera. I also had a cloud service subscription and recently needed help changing the payment method. Shawn in customer service went above and beyond to help me get everything taken care of. He was helpful, responsive, and made sure the issue was resolved. It’s always nice when a good product is backed by excellent customer service. I’ve been very happy with both the camera and the support I received. Highly recommended!

Loved it for the first 3 weeks. Now it’s having connectivity issues (slow connection to WiFi) although my WiFi is fast and I do not have a big house so my devices are within range to my router. Sometimes it takes a little longer to load a video/load the screen. I haven’t tried the sd card yet so not sure how well that works. I tried their 7 day subscription trial and it seems okay. It stops recording after a minute or so. Doesn’t record for longer than that. Once the trial is over you can pay for a subscription fee. For up to 4 cameras price is about twenty bucks per month with 30d storage. 1 camera price is seven bucks per month with 14d storage. You can also purchase annually. Video quality day and night looks good. It is very easy to set up. Since you stick the camera to the window, you can’t put it at a certain angle. There is a product to help with that but for 1 it’s twenty bucks, doesn’t seem worth it to me since the price adds up per camera. You might be able to find a cheaper alternative/ brand for the angle product. App usage is simple…. It was a little confusing to cancel the subscription because I couldn’t figure how to in the app but it has a FAQ page. I was then able to cancel it. For starters, I think this camera is good. But if you want something that’ll work faster and better, look elsewhere.

Excellent. Does everything I need a camera to do. Records events, down load events if you ever need to send proof of delivery etc. App is great easy to navigate. Just like my other security cameras. Picture is great can not fault it. Well worth the purchase had other camera before this one which only worked if you subscribed. I sent them back. No subscription needed with this App does everything you needed it do. Very surprised if your disappointed. Only gripe is that it does not come with a uk plug!
