I rarely write product reviews, but this keyboard has saved me so much time that it warrants a shout-out to the world.I am a touch typist and I use my keyboard 4-10 hours a day. Four about 20 years I have used Microsfot Ergonomic (split) keyboards. I've worn them out. When my last one started to go, I decided to shop around.I tried two top-rated keyboards and was unhappy with the feel (one was just cheap) and the performance.Then I opened this keyboard and I was immediately impressed. Good design, it came in blue (my favorite color) and with clear instructions.Here's the most crucial part: The strokes are SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than on the Microsoft Keyboard. It's like a good laptop keyboard, but with an ergonomic design. And it comes with a rubber overlay that provides an even better tactile feel for the keyboard, and I slip less.The result? I make a lot fewer mistakes, and I must be typing 25-50% faster than I used to as a result.WOW!ANOTHER BONUS: This device features two Bluetooth channels, which is particularly useful for me since I work with two computers at my desk (don't ask, it's complicated). It takes just a push of a button to switch between them. WONDERFUL! I LOVE IT! It saves me even more time, and I get an excellent keyboard without having to buy two!Occasionally, I need to resync with the Bluetooth, but it has a special sync button that opens the Microsoft Windows Bluetooth configuration setting, making it fast and easy.I highly recommend this keyboard for anyone who values a good keyboard.And for anyone who doesn't know the difference, try this keyboard and you will understand.

First and foremost, I’m a keyboard snob. Truly. I’ve been a paralegal for nearly 20 years and spend my whole day in front of a computer. Prior to that I worked in medical billing again spending my whole day on a computer. You could say I’ve spent my career typing. As such, I am VERY particular when it comes to keyboards. When I find one I really like, I hold onto to it until its demise. By then, that model has usually been replaced by something else.I was reluctant to try this keyboard. I’ve hesitated buying anything new for more than a year eking out the last bit of life from my old one. I’ve read many, many reviews about many, many ergonomic keyboards. I originally purchased an ergonomic Lenovo Go but you had to buy the number pad separately and it just was a hassle to not have an integrated number pad. The keyboard itself was nice but had its quirks.I found myself searching again and coming back to this keyboard. After reading reviews from people who didn’t receive the item in exchange for their review, I felt confident that I should at least give it a go. I am glad I did. This is just my initial assessment but the keys are smooth strokes, the ergonomic alignment is perfection, and the leather wrist pad allows for smooth transition while moving across the board while typing. This keyboard has the feel of a super high end piece of technology. If you are hesitant I understand your reluctance. But I would highly suggest you try it out. If you're like me, looking for a keyboard to replace your aging MS Ergonomic Keyboard 4000s, then this is a satisfactory alternative. I still prefer the MS 4000 as well as the also discontinued MS Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard, but this keyboard is honestly not bad. After using it for two days straight to get used to it, I would actually get another one of these for my other work station.The angle for wrists is pretty much the same as the 4000, and I appreciate the fact that it comes with four foldable feet so you can tilt it a decline downwards away from you or towards you, whatever you prefer. Key responsiveness is okay, not as good as the Sculpt, but not bad. It has a different feel than the MS 4000 also.Recently, I just got an Incase Sculpt keyboard in the mail. Incase bought the patent from Microsoft to recreate the Sculpt, and it's like having the MS Sculpt over again. I still prefer the Sculpt over this Protoarc keyboard, but this may be mostly because of my bias from extensive use with the MS 4000 and the Sculpt.However, the advantage of this Protarc keyboard is that it's a full size keyboard. The MS Sculpt is a partial keyboard that has a separate number keypad to go with it. This Protarc keyboard also has an (adjustable) backlight. I, myself, don't really care for the backlight, but if you game a lot in the dark, you might like it. I also think the keyboard is quite attractive and well made, but whether it becomes your personal favorite will be your choice.

Awesome so far. Typically I wait on reviews yet in this case having the ProtoArc EK01 keyboard for only a week, it's been a great start. Packaging was well done and setup was super easy; I opted to use the USB receiver with my PC tower. I like everything about this item and I like using it. Getting accustomed to the split keyboard is taking some time and I know over time it will be better for me personally. I would like to note I was hesitant after reading the product description comment regarding backlighting and waiting 3 seconds. My experience has been that the keyboard comes out of sleep mode instantly. There are no missed keystrokes and the backlight restores in a fraction of a second. I would definitely buy this again.

This is the nicest keyboard I have ever had! What a treat! Very nice and positive feel of the key strike, easy space bar for both thumbs, individually split, and the backlighting is amazing! I am just getting started with this keyboard but I can tell it is going to be a great addition and a pleasure to use.
