I purchased this bench for a Yamaha digital piano and it does not disappoint. The installation was easy and quick and the seat is comfortable for long sessions. The storage is a great addition and something my last bench did not have. The overall look also paired nicely with the Yamaha digital piano.

First, the bad. There were a couple of small imperfections on the inside of the legs. That's it. You'd probably not notice if you didn't have to assemble it. It's not fine furniture. My grandson loves it. It's big enough, just the right height for him and evidently soft enough for him. Not adjustable, so I'll be buying something else in a few years. For the price, no complaints. It's sturdy and easy to assemble.

This bench is beautiful, sturdy and incredibly low priced for such premiere high quality.

Bought this to replace my solo, single-player Yamaha bench. That bench was just OK - it was uncomfortable, but got the job done - and this replacement bench is leagues above it, but still has a couple of shortcomings.Pros:* Excellent size. The duet bench should be a standard. Even if you're playing by yourself, it's great to have the space to slide around and stretch out.* The storage has good depth and is very useful. Say goodbye to sheet music just laying around, just slip it into the bench. I have a digital piano, and the storage comfortably holds my over-the-ear headphones as well, which was a good surprise.* Super easy to put together. The legs slip in and you screw a couple of nuts and washers. Couldn't be any simpler.Unfortunately, there are a few cons...* The bench had a few chips and knicks on it when it arrived. I was very surprised by this, because it was packaged excellently with plenty of padding and had no damage to the delivery box. I think the small chips and scratches must have happened during the packing process.* It's not very comfortable for longer periods. The cushion isn't as plush as I'd like. It feels good at first, but can get uncomfortable after 30 minutes or so. I've only had it for a week, so I'm worried about the long-term reliability of this cushion.* The price. Other duet benches on Amazon cost 3/4ths the price of this with comparable reviews. I stuck with Songmics though because I've used some of their products and have been happy with them before.Overall, it's a great bench. Some minor issues, but I'm very happy with my purchase. Recommended for any piano player in need of a bench.

So far, the bench works very well for my 8 year old. She has used it twice since we assembled it yesterday. The assembly was fairly easy, though someone with large hands might find working in such close quarters uncomfortable. My fingers kept bumping into the corners. My fingers are rather small. Its just a slight inconvenience.The bench is sturdy. All legs are the same length, and the bench is solid on flat ground. The storage compartment is rather small. The length holds two John Thompson Music Theory workbooks, laid top to bottom. The width just fits the workbooks, with maybe an inch of extra space. A half inch thick, three ring binder fits the depth with two thin books on top. We laid a liner along the bottom to keep the black dye from wearing unto the music materials. The lid closes smoothly. My 8 year old loves that it closes quietly. There is an air gap between the storage compartment and lid, which I appreciate. The bench did smell when unpacking it, but its starting to dissipate.I really liked the fact that the bench came packaged with just enough to keep it safe during delivery. The legs may need a bit of paper wrapping, as one was slightly scratched. However, as I assembled the bench I noticed it was very dirty/dusty. It took several wipes to clean it. Every time I wiped the storage compartment base the rag kept turning black. I think its just a dye problem. However, the legs and outside took three wipes each before the rag was not grayish.Once cleaned up the bench works great, it looks great.

Great value, comfortable, prompt delivery in good condition. I like the width of the bench as well as the storage.
