Purchased 3 of these for my adult sons for Christmas. They loved them. The best part is that they sharpen the straight blade when it dulls so they are saving tons of $ on new razors!

I purchased this for my fiancé's birthday. He gets a clean shave and his face is super smooth! He also really likes the soap that came with it. The wooden handle was perfect for what he was looking for and he also received extra blades with it. If you're looking for a straight razor with that "old, vintage" look, this will not let you down.

The kit seems okay, but the razor came with a bad edge. Out of the box it was not shaving sharp, but after honing it I realized I wasn't sharpening the apex. I had to go all the way down to a 1000 grit stone to establish a new edge. Don't buy this if you don't have sharpening stones (or know someone who does)

Every thing in the kit is fine and i get a good shave. The wood on the razor handle is unfinished and looks old and dirty and just looks like sloppy craftsmanship. I do like the function of the razor. I feel like the handle will rot away. Otherwise its fine

I give this to my significant other for Christmas and he loved it! It seems to be really nice. You guys should put out a tutorial or a book and more products

Edit-The company is out of China. There is ZERO customer service for this. Also, the blade is not hardened properly and will not hold an edge. DO NOT BUY!!!!The kit is cheap for what it is. The soap holder is just really thin plastic. I dont think the durability is there. The strop is short but nice, the brush is what I expected and works well. The razor is just horribly dull. My pocket knife literally has a sharper edge(I can actually shave with it usually). This blade was sharp enough to shave the hair on my arm, but was no match for facial hair. I spent a lot of time with the strop trying to fine tune it to no avail....its just a cheap blade. The company is aware but has not contacted me back. Do not waste your money for this kit, just the the ones without the straight razor.
