Love my new air compressor. I am a high school basketball coach that runs summer basketball camps with each player receiving a ball. Last summer, after two of my rinky dinky Craftsman air compressors burned out after pumping up 120 balls, I decided to purchase this higher volume air compressor. Not only was pumping the balls this summer much faster but this unit is super quiet and worked almost as if I barely scratched it's capacity. It didn't even sweat the amount of balls we pumped up. Glad I purchased this unit and would definitely recommend it.

Like it says on the description, the pump is ultra quiet, but unfortunately is also lacking some HP. Many times if your insert the needle to inflate a ball and turn on, the pump will not start. What we do is turn it on and then insert the needle in the ball, that way is already running. We only inflate 3-4 balls per weekend so is not a big deal for us as the price is good. If you inflate a lot of balls during the week, you probably need to look for a better (and more pricey) option.

I'd looked all over locally for a little compressor to keep in the garage to top off my car tires. I found either huge AC powered ones or tiny ones powered off a lighter plug. I got a clue to look for "sports inflators" and found this one, which is a reasonable size and runs off of AC with a decent length cord. I've used it 5 or 6 times in the past couple of months, and it's just what I wanted! For the reviewer who wanted specs: Weight: about 8 pounds Gauge: up to 60 lbs pressure Power: 1/8 horsepower Volt: 115V/60Hz RPM: 1700 AMP: 0.6 A

I ordered two of them, for the schools I teach PE and after-school sports at, they get the job done, they're easy to use, not that loud, and so far they seem durable. As always you have to be careful with the needles because if you bend them inside the ball your inflating they could break, but if you know what you're doing that won't happen.
