Anthisan Bite & Sting Cream 20G by Anthisan

This is the only product that really works for sand fleas and yellow jackets, among other stings and bites. It reduced the swelling, inflammation, and itching of a yellow jacket sting on my husband’s leg when no other product did. We first found it in New Zealand 15 years ago and have never been without it since then!

This salve is also excellent to use on small burns, cuts, and scrapes.

I got this for fire ant bites and it didn't work so well for the itching but it sure worked well for a wasp sting!

We first purchased this when we were visiting Fiji and the mosquitoes thought I was a gourmet meal. You do have to wait a few minutes to feel the effect after putting it on a mosquito bite, but once it kicks in, the bite should not be itchy any more. I like this more than topical Benadryl or other medications that are meant to stop bug bite itching.

Has a gritty texture to it which isn’t how it should be. It should be a smooth paste

Would buy again and again since it is so effective and easy to use and will take a while to use because of the compact size and quantity which makes it value for money.

Im still a little uncertain whether this works well. It definitely seems to soothe itchy bites. So probably the answer is yes. It would be better if it was a bit bigger in size, especially this dry hot summer, the lil insects have been having a great time biting us. Our bites have been mainly mosquitos and horseflies. It applies well and rubs in well into the skin, not greasy or messy.

Getting stung by nettles is just nature's way of telling you that you are having too much fun outdoors. I have been using this for a few months now, keeping a tube in my hydration pack when I'm out on the e-bike trails. It works absolute magic on nettle rash and insect bites, taking the annoying itch away in a matter of minutes. It absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving a horrible greasy residue, which is great when you are covered in trail dust. The only gotcha is that it has a very distinct medicinal, slightly chemical smell. You won't want to use it as a daily moisturiser, but for actual relief in the middle of nowhere, it does exactly what it needs to do.
