Mevo Plus (UK) - The Live Event Camera, stream in Full HD 1080p or Record in 4K, compatible with Android and iOS

So, if you're in a band and want to entertain your fans, public speaker, choir or member of a board hosting a meeting, no matter what this little camera is an awesome addition to make live streaming the event a breeze and so much more enjoyable to watch.

This is the second unit and both had the same issue where there is a loud background noise when using the built in microphone.I tried with it connected to the charger, on the boost & standalone - all with significant background noiseEven a replacement had the same issue out of the box - maybe a batch issue?Find out if you have the same issue too!I used a USB audio adaptor on the boost with an external shotgun mic and the problem went away, but isn't ideal as wanted a super portable streaming device!

Love this camera and all that it does. Bit disappointed that you need to subscribe to obtain extra functions when the camera is costly in the first place but a side to that this is better than you could hope for, for a live stream cam.

The main problem I had with this was that the Micro SD card provided was faulty. In every other way the camera works fine and performs exactly as described in the blurb. However, the faulty SD card meant that it wouldn't record without streaming to an external platform (e.g. Facebook) and it got confused when this failed and refused to connect. The only way to recover was to reboot the unit. I reformatted the SD card via the app and via my Mac, but it still wouldn't work. I therefore splashed out £18 for a new 32GB card and lo and behold it now works perfectly.The firmware behaving poorly in the light of a bad SD card has lost it a star I'm afraid. I have fed this back to Mevo, who were pretty good in their support, so maybe they'll fix it in a firmware update at some time.I would recommend it though. Nice unit

Excellent Camera and great results everytiime

Really disappointed with this, ordered this to film some of my gigs but the connection drops from your phone.I watched a lot of great video ads on this and thought this would be the perfect tech to film . But sound is poor and just not reliable enough

Good camera, and audio is great too (with external mic+boost) - however, for those of you that planned to use this for 24/7 RTMP streaming: It will crash regularly, and is just not solid enough for that purpose.
