This sparing set comes with a nice face mask and head guard for a child, which is the most important item. The backpack isn’t very robust, and I doubt it is going to hold up to frequent use. Most of the accessories are going to have a limited life span as well. It is good for little kids who want to see if they like Tae kwon Do. I don’t think it would be appropriate for older kids who may hit harder though. You wouldn’t want all these pads for older kids anyways. It is a nice beginner set but it needs an upgrade to the backpack and other guards.

You get everything you need in this set. The head guard is just as good and any other dipped foam with face mask. The chest guard is great as well and offers a decent amount of padded protection. The remainder of the items are not that great but functional. There is minimal padding and they are stiff. They will work fine for children getting started and testing out the sport but you will likely upgrade these quickly.
