How long does it take to work? How long to wear one ?

Depends on the depth of the wart you are trying to remove. But it will start killing your skin within 24 hours. I have only had a few warts that I seem to get from the pool. But I have always caught them early and they have only been at a depth of less than 3-4mm. So I have only had to use them for 5-5 days.

Should the brown side of the small disc touch the skin or the pad

The dark side of the tinier patch should be touching the skin and then place the cushion pad directly over it.

My child’s wart is on the palm of her hand - just below where the finger meets the hand. Will this product stay on well? Last through hand washing etc

It stays on very well!Repeated hand washing might be an issue but these are super sticky.Maybe try liquid bandade over the disk alone and not use the pad?
