first, I am a skincare .. brat. I always try to use quality skincare and makeup. as I’ve aged (just turned 40) it’s been harder to find a quality foundation that doesn’t highlight fine lines or look cakey. I finally pulled the trigger on this bc I think it has good ingredients and I actually want to believe that Gaga wants to create a good product. like I said .. I’ve researched and hemmed and hawed over what to try.. I tried ilia concealer, it’s heavy and not great on maturing skin. this is beautiful. it’s thicker and you do not need a lot. I have fair skin with freckles and some dark spots which bother me a lot .. this covers them and gives me no irritation thus far. my skin is sensitive and combination. I did not buy it through Amazon. I bought it through the haus website and think that’s best when ordering skincare. I’ve read a lot of reviews that hate it but it’s clearly dependent on your skin and what you’re looking for. I like pretty minimal coverage .. I live in Maine .. seasons change and so does my skin. it works for me and I’m really glad. finally!! found something that works.EDIT: I use squalene oil under my makeup. I find it works really well under any makeup and helps with dry spots and unnatural look.
