Great train for the fun but a pain to get on the track properly.
Bought for grandson. Love the size, steam, lights and horn. Would be a 5 star but it is a pain to get lined up on the track correctly especially if you use the track switches. Wheel design needs to be a little better to fit on the track. Also put on solid floor not carpet or rug. Any flexing and the train derails.

Good quality and functions well. Battery will last quite a while and give you a few 20 minute sessions before re-charging needed. Totally fun for my 4 year old. With better instructions the build would have been much easier. Took me about 1 hour to figure it all out from the pictures and the box. Once it’s going you will be uber pleased. FYI those tiny bars on the square racks are to be used to lock the track pieces together so they don’t pop out.To build the track on the box you need ALL the pieces of the track. There are no extras so if you loose 1 or break it that wont be possible. I think I’ll purchase a second box to expand my track into crazy designs and run 2 trains. This is perfect bonding time for me and my kiddo.

Not working
Ran the train for about an hour after setting it up… put the battery on the charger before running it later. The train ran again with no problems for about 10 minutes then it shut off and beeped 3 times.. now it won’t run.. anytime I push a button it just beeps 3 times. Help . There were no user manuals.

Can't Get Any Better Than This For The Price
I love this train. It's stylish and very cool looking. It has steam that comes out the top and out the sides by the wheel (like a real steam train does.) It's also very easy to put on the tracks, and it's durable. I moved the train twice and I just picked up the whole thing, and it didn't come apart. Last night I moved the track and I didn't take it apart and it didn't fall apart neither (I have it set up in an oval shape.)The only thing that would make this trains absolutely perfect, is if the remote allowed you to control the speed of the train (definitely not a deal breaker). It is cool though how it picks up speed gradually.
