Here is a Quick Guide:
The product is fantastic and an excellent deal if you actually read the description and know what 30pt chipboard is used for an behaves like, in-person. Many reviews here seem to either laud how much more thick and sturdy it was than they expected, while others are overly critical of how flimsy it is. let me give you a quick guide so that you are, perhaps, more informed: pt (or points) are the unit of thickness at which chipboard is measured.10-15 pt chipboard is what is used for snack and toy boxes. Your average sugary cereal probably comes in a 10 to 15pt box, as well as your typical low-end blind box. good for arts and crafts for kids, or doubled up for professional artisanal work, in a real pinch.30 pt is used mostly for shipping and notebooks. The average college-ruled spiral notebook uses 30 pt chipboard for the back cover. It is also used to keep shipped items like art prints, important documets, and stickers flat and non-bendable, or at the very least make the postal carrier have to actually think about crisping your package in half. 30 pt is the weight this product is. This product still offers SOME buckle, but is MUCH sturdier than 15 pt, while not being As Expensive as something More Weighty.60-100 pt chipboard is what is typically used in hardcover bookbinding, as it offers VERY little ability to buckle, if none at all. it is OCCASIONALLY used in shipping, but is usually overkill and too expensive, anyways. Almost all of the review complaints ive seen about it being not sturdy enough were people doing hardcover bookbinding. this is not the chipboard you are looking for if you want to make a tome without gluing several sheets together. please do some more research on pt and then come back to purchasing drawing board. Ive bound books before; spend money right, not twice.

Loom Weaving Art Class
I'm using this in my classroom for my students to create looms and learn to weave with yarn. These are nice and thick, so very durable. They are a 9x12 size and allow my students to create a good sized loom. Their color is similar to the inside of a cereal box, but these are thicker.

Just what I was looking for
Great thickness

Not thick enough
The media could not be loaded. If you want a rigid book cover it will take 2 cardboard glued on one another.
